Started a couple of PG&C threads but every time my real life was in some kind of turmoil and/or I lacked motivation.

My poker history:
watching TV --> playing online poker sats for Live Events
played NL, PLO, MTT and SNG without any plan
BRM ... struggling with the concept ... played some 50$/100$ PLO

thread title:
There is another saying: a man needs to build a house, plant a tree and father a son.
I have achieved this goal!
But lastly Im not sure what to do in the future. I have a good paid job - but lots of hours and responsibility - and sitting at my work desk thinking about the fact: whats the point of having a son and a house when you arent there.

For some time Im thinking about changing my career/job - Im rather certain that I wont be playing poker for a living - but it would help if poker can generate some side-income. This would widden the range of possible job choices.
Mainly Im searching for an interesting job, which pays good and where I would have less hours to work - I know dream on....

I will try to keep this blog focused on poker, but then and there I will rant about my life...

I have a bonus for €500 to clear in 60 days - so first goal
helps with second goal: volume
grow bankroll for PLO100
cash-out often / includes skrill
try to find my learning method. I never really studied poker strategy

Cleared 3% of my bonus and my bankroll increased exactly the same amount...

Playing on Hive but cant import my Hh into Hem. Found some converters but dont want to pay 50 bucks right now.

Anyone know of some alternatives?

Been playing PLO from PLO10 up to PL50. I have not played reg speed for a long time - so Im trying to concentrate on opponents and make notes - so also Im following fishes were they go. Im hard trying to keep to proper bankrollmanagment - but on the other hand also more on the aggresive side because I dont want to grind to much at the lower levels.

# goals:
As you can see I played 3k hand in 1 week - I dont think I will be able to play more than 15-20k hands per month.
So after a quick calculation I came up with a needed winrate of min 4 bb/100 to come to an hourly which makes the whole poker-grind-business worthwhile.
Anything under and poker should be considerd as a hobby for fun and hours should be reduced. Lets se were I stand after december ended!!!

# high-level moaning:
Today I needed to go to the toilet - seat missing. Went to the next also seat missing. Why clean both seats at the same time? annoying!
How is that related to "high-level moaning? Luckily I have three toilets installed at my house.

# poker
Nothing much to inform you on. Played bad got rivered worse and so on. Normal PLO rant.

Trying to get my hands into FPDB - something about changing handhistory to Pokerstars and then you are able to import the hands. Will try to post a graph but when looking at my balance I know it wont be pretty.

Also was searching the internet for ways to improve my game. Havnt done such a thing ever... except the standard skipping through poker videos, but never serious.
Maybe will read a PLO book - lets see. On the other hand I dont have much time on my hands so its playing or studying and I like to do the former first.

What to write? Im too lazy - Stress at work - lots of fun at the weekend and low volume poker wise.
next few days Im going for a trip - no family or relatives. After that new years party

so no poker for me.... nearly no poker except I will play the Sunday Million of course

Ok ok Im an addict - I was sure to play the Sunday Million 5Mio Edition.
So before registering I used the money to run it up a little.
After I trapped a guy with my weak AAxx hand and turned the nuts, I was again reminded that in PLO everything is possible - Quad 4s beating my FH...

But couple of hands later:


Again is a little bit out of my comfort zone/bankroll - but Million would be too so wtf!

As to the fact that I had won more than my entry money I thought give back a little to the community http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/61...16/index2.html and will try for tier 1 and 2.

As you may already have read in the news my shot at the sunday mill wasnt successful.
At PLO its going ok right now - Im playing again more on Stars cause of the fact, that Im more comfortable to play Zoom tables. I cant bring myself to play the regular tables for a longer period of time.

I have another couple of days of my holiday left, so I will try to play some hands and as this is the PG&C threat I also need to come up with some monthly/yearly goals.

The new year started with the usual hangover but when you get older you drink less but you feel the effects longer.
Tomorrow Im going for a skitrip which means: up the mountain, then into the first bar and trying to be able to get down with the last sunlight. Looking forward to it...

Have some small ups and downs but nothing spectacular - Im keeping my balance around the starting point. Its interesting to see that my handcount/playing time goes down every time I lose some days and instantly goes up again after winning... If I can keep a winning streak I also can up my volume.
Need to define some goals.... and motivate myself

I bought some stuff for my homeautomation system and am now playing with openhab, onewire and so on. No idea what people did without the internet - I have no clue about linux but nevertheless the system is running.
For my home I need to finish my "reading corner" - is a wooden gallery without any railing. Will buy some alu/glas railing system but will cost me aroung 5k - anything less than that will go into furniture.
So much things to do... and I have to travel a lot for work again too.
