So a little about me first.
- 5x times SNE (4,954,000 VPPs at the moment)
- Spanish living in UK for 4 years now.
- 800k vpps at the moment.
- Playing 30s spins
- Big multitabler
- Rakeback player

Little background
Used to play Starcraft under the nickname "Sajer" at a competitive level.
Dropped college at 18 after starting IT to become full time pro.
Moved to UK at 19.
First year did SNE playing 100 and 200 CAP mainly 24tabling. 0 profit at tables, 10k blinds under ev in 2,5M hands. 70k? rakeback
Second year played 100-200 CAP and 0 profit again, but 120k in rakeback.
Third year moved up stakes, started to play until 1k CAP, some profit+rakeback. Good year overall.
Four year started to play some deepstack too after being bored of playing CAP. Good year overall too, up in rakeback+tables profit.
And this year I'm at 800k VPPs and I think I must be like a little down postrakeback without counting the big bonus. Why? Tried to learn HU and deepstack, played vs some big players at 1k and 2k 3tabling. I must be 30k up in CAP games and 90k down in deepstack games this year probably. I'm under ev probably my whole life, but something like 50k in that massive amount of hands must be normal, so cant complain.

Why spins
Well, you can pretty good multitable them, variance is hardcore but they are kind of funny if you hit a big multiplier, and I love playing shallow stacks and improving my HU game below 20 bbs. Plus you can't gamble that much as playing 2k vs top regs, so seems a fair deal.

Goals
I'm at 803k vpps at the moment. I need to play 26,6k 30s before the end of the year to hit the 1M mark. Assuming I play 60/hr, I need 444 hours in 3 months (I'll take probably whole december off). Thats 148hr/month or 5hr/day. My eVROI at 30s lifetime is probably close to 5% in over 10k tournaments, so at least I wanna achieve a 3% evROI in the next 26k games. Thats 23400$ plus 16000$ in rakeback without VPPs, including the VPPs I think I'll be closer to 100$/hr. So thats my goal. Ending the year with 50k profit.

What about the future
Well, I'm gonna study Business Management in London next year. Poker isnt funny for me anymore (I think thats the way it is after playing 34234234284792834 hands) and I dont want to keep rakeing for 6 more years until reaching 1M$$ and being able to retire. Plus, I've always wanted to be called "Doctor" by someone, so thats it.

My fingers are too slow so I gave up playing BW. I was the slowest Terran player ever.

Went out monday and got pretty much wasted, schedule totally off, gotta get it back.

Im not sure about moving up to the 60s-100s. Im pretty much confident that 8-9tabling the 30s I can get a 3%evroi++, and 6tabling maybe 5-6%. Im not using spinwiz always, but try to queue. Most of my games been manuregged, and 10% with spinwiz. I think that Ill try to achieve 50-60spins/hour and maximize my EV as much as possible. Getting something like 70-80spins/hour could be possible, but lossing 1-2% evroi is not something good I guess. Didnt do the math, but I think that playing 2-3 tables I could get a 3-4% evROI at 60s. Main problem is that my $/hr will be lower and more variance, so Ill stick with the 30s for now.

Started grinding with 50$ at Pstrategy with 20 bbs. Moved to deepstack 24 NL2 tables. Grinded for 6months and I was in NL100 doing 5k months. Oh good old days. Climbed stakes and moved to Pokerstars in order to get the SNE ;p

I think the most important thing about spins (well, not the most important one, but one of them) is being able to realize how much better you are than your opponent and if you can pass X spot in favour of another one. Calling a 25bb OS with 22 vs an unknown player in the HU is stupid. Is cEV+, but youll find spots much better and youll increase your evROI.

Going to Barcelona 22th for a couple days with friends, probably playing the EPT but not sure, I got all the action booked but Prague was really boring grinding the tournament for 5 days and busting 27th, so Ill maybe play some cash and do some nightlife/tourism. More nightlife party than tourism, so if anyone is going throw me a PM.

Dunno yet, probably getting a degree in not my native language will be hard, so can't say right now what I'll be doing. I'll try to earn at least 3-4k month for expenses and not touching my "life money". I'm kind of burnt/out for playing a couple more years, so thats why I chose the degree, although I wont stop playing definitely. I'll end un coaching below my hourly rate and thats all I guess, plus some CAP-rakeing hours.

Thank you. Not at all I think. You can still get 12+ games at peak hours from 200-1k I think, but they'll die soon. Winrates are getting worse and a lot of rec players moved up to more fun games (spins :P).

Played 63games/hour, so volume is just very low. 57 hours in 19 days is meh. I should really push myself, maximize my time and try to get 7-8hrs a day at least. Besides that, going to the gym, going out, enjoying my time..., so not really much to complaint, just lack of volume.

Flying to BCN @22th, still dont know if Ill play cash games or some tournaments, thinking about 12hrs straight playing the EPT and almost makes me sick. Going back to UK 2th Sept, moving out to a new place, and Ill be sitting at 830k vpps, so that 170k vpps more.

Thats 22666 games / 60hr, 377 hours. Im going to Berlin 13th october, and my birthday is 22th october. Almost 8hrs a day and Ill finish the SNE. After that, just move up stakes and maximize my evroi. November/december will be about thinking.

Came back from Barcelona, didnt play the EPT and played some 1k and 600 cash, ended up a few ks up but played some hands poorly. Example: OR JTs vs reggish BB, board KQ2, bet/check-call, turn A, bet/check-call from BB, river K, bet again (bb is a reg, decent one, i dont think I have a valuebet here, maybe KT and KJ but im blocking most of them) and I did a bet-call to his minraise. Horrible. -25bb bet and -25bb call. Considering we are playing 30hs/hr in live that costed me a lot.

Another interesting one, 9max, open QQ from UTG+2 (250bbs), 3bet a guy next to me which seems pretty nitty, call from CO, call from BTN, call from BB. I can call and play a 5way pot, but decided to 4bet/fold. MP showed AA after I show QQ. With less than 200bbs Im calling the 3bet, with so many bbs still dont know. I think is better to 4bet A2-A4s and 4bet/call KK/AA, but considering the dead money was a lot and I could get it in vs BB/BTN/CO JJ or AK. Thoughts?

Will grind 100k vpps this month and going to Berlin for the WSOPE 12oct. Main idea is play some cash games, party, and play the 3250e and the 1100e turbo with reentry. Thats 5450e. Dont know the field, both structures seems superturbo so Ill probably sell 50% with 1,03-1,05MU, gotta think about it. If anyone is interested in reserve pm me!
