we should probably be 4betting the AKo pre flop in this hand, as played we obviously can't fold otherwise we'd fold almost our entire range, we're chopping some of the time and we're catching bluffs, sort of a no brainer call

Even vs an opponent that you've seen make this play? If he isn't bluffing in the easiest river ever to bluff, how can I expect him to do so when the river bricks? Also villain had a very low 3-bet
Why is that such a great river to bluff? your fd and Qx heavy
All his semibluffs got there, he has to be barreling a,lot of air OTT to be capable of bluffing the river properly. Also a lot of my fds jam turn or raise flop.
After some thought I like the fold, a nit can be expected to check ak at least sometimes and his bluff combos are so few that he has to bluff like 30-50% of them for this to be a call. 44wwsf with 21 vpip is super nitty. Calling here basically means you think this is one of the few spots this nit chooses to fight for and thats gambling at best.
Who knows why he didn't bluff the AJ, maybe he was having a bad session and all his bluffs were getting called, you could list a number of reasons for that specific spot. Also your confusing nitty pre with nitty post flop.

It's pretty close. But what's funny to me is how rapid will make the worst calls I've ever seen then proceed to fold in spots that are much closer. That being said I'm still leaning towards a fold on this one. Bottom line gonna need more hands on villain.

I agree, but I'm still learning how to make good calls, my std was to always fold, so in the way I'm in this weird zone where I'm making sick folds while making bad calls.
UTG raises to 3 BB, fold, CO raises to 8.5 BB, Hero raises to 24 BB, fold, fold, UTG calls 21 BB, CO calls 15.5 BB
Flop:(73.5 BB, 3 players) 8 5 7
UTG bets 70.82 BB and is all-in, fold, fold
UTG wins 72.13 BB
Duuude. The guy is a fish, what makes you think he's not just deciding to go with JJ or QQ there? I just played a hand where I made similarly tight fold vs a fish and he turned up with something totally ******ed.
