As fellow gallbladder patient can give as advice to start eating light and avoid alcohol. Full meat / barbeque stuff seems to be the worst for my digestion and causes stretches of stomach pains .
Hey man sorry to hear about this, hit me up on Skype when you get out
My gf says if you do get your gallbladder removed, people don’t always get told that changes in diet and supplements are really important, certain types of fats are easier to digest than others, and to hit me up and she can help you w it
Vamooooo
Yeah, let's talk tonight! The doctor said my gallbladder wasn't working anymore though, not sure since it wasn't working.

Do you still feel pain in the stomach? Yeah, I will stay away from bbq, junk food and fizzy drinks, I rarely drink alcohol, only some rare times I go out and drink 1-2 beers. I was forcing myself to eat a lot of meat because of the gym but gonna stop that.
I'm having good and bad stretches regarding stomach pain. Staying in healthy diet and getting enough walking is really important. Have to say it changed my life quite a bit with that gallbladder removal, more often stomach pains, diarrhoea etc. Some people run good and have no problems after surgery others have more. Diet and habits play significant role.
fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to 3 BB, fold, Hero raises to 106.62 BB and is all-in, BTN calls 89 BB and is all-in
Flop:(184.5 BB, 2 players) 5 8 A
Turn:(184.5 BB, 2 players) 2
River:(184.5 BB, 2 players) A
Spoiler:
Hero shows A K (Three of a Kind, Aces)
(Pre 74%, Flop 83%, Turn 93%) BTN shows A Q (Three of a Kind, Aces)
(Pre 26%, Flop 17%, Turn 7%) Hero wins 180.5 BB
H5: vs nit, insane to see how much these nits end up bluffing, specially with their sizing tells. It's so obvious that he isn't valuebetting a FH with that sizing and that he wants us to fold our busted draws.
You live in Brazil, so fruit has to be dirt cheap.
Keitt mangoes are amazing at fulfilling hunger.
Consider going high carb if you are having gallbladder issues. Try it for a week and see how you feel.
don't replace meat with salad mate lol wtf, legumes and whole grains is where you will get the same amino acids
anyway glad you're feeling better, best of luck in the grind
When I say salads I include legumes too haha
Thanks, man! Gl you too!

Yeah, fruits are insane cheap here, gotta eat them more, not sure about having a high carb diet, I don't know much about nutrition but I always try to eat as balanced as possible. Obv I end up eating poorly not because of bad planning, but lack of discipline/friends always going out to eat all-you-can-eat bbq/junk food. Also when I smoke too much weed I just start eating like a monster no matter what is in front of me lol.
Just watched one episode of chef's table that Oladipo suggested(magnus nilsson), really inspiring, will buy the cooking book faviken and will try to cook like 2-3x/week. If I can cook some decent food I think it will help me get away from food that is bad for health, also I enjoy cooking despite not cooking very well.
world's healthiest sustainable diets are all high carbs, complex carbs obviously, not garbage like white bread and cookies, key component in those diets is that it is high fiber so it's pretty hard to over eat (although doable if you try pretty hard)

I wish fruits and veggies were cheap where I live
How much is it? Like price/kg of mangos and lettuce?

Lettuce is mega expensive and that's basically the reason why I don't eat green salads much.
Mangoes can be as cheap as 3€/kg, but doesn't matter when 95% of them are unripe and un-edible. So called ready-to-eat ones are 6e-8e/kg, but it's always a gamble whether they are starting to rot already. Prices drop during the season.
I had symptoms which sound a lot like gallbladder attacks, but I had instant relief once I gave up meat. I can't judge anyone for eating meat, as some people can eat meat all their lives without problems.
I think fruits are underrated as a food source. You can mono meal them in larger quantities for breakfast or make a smoothie.
Another thing I would recommend is intermittent fasting. Drinking coffee in the morning helps to keep the hunger away.
Also pay attention to portion sizes. You don't wanna eat massive meals if you have some digestive problems.

Makes me realize how much processed foods I eat, but #YOLO #convenience
This month I still played low volume, I had some issues like pain and surgery, but tbh I think I could have easily put 30k hands if I had slept well and forced a bit more volume, I'm pretty sure I quit some sessions earlier than I should. Can't blame myself that much because the way it's going it's like I have 2 jobs, so whatever, most people can't spend 10h/day with work during weekdays and still work on weekends. At least I didn't play some sessions I shouldn't, like when I didn't play when I didn't feel enough confidence, it's much better to take that approach than to spew money just for the sake of volume.
At least studied a lot and came with a lot of discoveries and my study sessions with Oladipo were very good, it's very good to have someone of his level that plays high stakes to study with and his advice/ideas on every spot are very spot on, specially when it comes to human deviations compared to PIO, with the the way that the human brain works it will always make them exploitable in some spots no matter how much study they have/RNG they use. There are some things that humans just can't do, and studying with someone that has a very good amount of practical knowledge will always be very good when mixed with someone with a good amount of theory knowledge like me.
Next month I will probably play low volume again too, my brother is here and some friends will come for the vacation from uni, so will go out a bit more. Maybe I could end up playing more because I can't go to the gym for 1 month, so I will have on average an extra 1h/day to play poker.
I'm pretty sure I'm winning a lot at 100z, probably >3bb winner in there, finally got used to play properly vs those muppets and exploiting them to the maximum. Also I'm really proud of my table selection, jumped at 200z only when the pool was great, avoided 100z when it was bad and played 50z without any form of entitlement, didn't underestimate that lower stake at all. Playing to make money is so much better lol.
Hero shows T T (Full House, Tens full of Twos)
(Pre 57%, Flop 83%, Turn 100%) BB mucks K A (One Pair, Twos)
(Pre 43%, Flop 17%, Turn 0%) Hero wins 124.1 BB
H2: thought I had to bluff with A highs because I didn't want to give him the opportunity to just fold all pairs and be fine in that spot. This hand is so 100z lol. People have 0 clue on what range do you get to the river with and just want to click call
UTG calls 1 BB, Hero raises to 2.32 BB, CO calls 2.32 BB, fold, fold, fold, UTG calls 1.32 BB
Flop:(8.46 BB, 3 players) Q 6 4
UTG checks, Hero bets 2.02 BB, CO raises to 11 BB, fold, fold
CO wins 11.88 BB
Btw, finland22 asked me to post this here, he created a new blog outside of here because people won't unban him lol. So here it is for everyone that enjoys reading his **** and following his story lol
AA blocking the FD is our worst overpair in there, I think that if there were mw solvers that combo would mix some folds or at least its EV of calling would be very marginal at best. Villain isn't supposed to be valuebetting many AQ otf with 2 uncapped players and it's very likely that pio would prefer playing that spot without raises because he is IP and by polarizing his raises otf with a capped calling range after he calls it would create the opportunity for utg and myself to abuse that capped range a lot on future streets (and utg otf too).
After all that, when I know villain is a nit, then I can just fold that and be happy with it.
EV of calling would possibly be quite marginal but I doubt it would ever fold against a properly balance raising range, that said it possibly is okay against a nit
how much hh do you have vs villian in h5? i'm usually jizzing myself in that spot lol. folding wouldn't cross my mind except against the nittiest of nits

4k hands I think, 6% raise cbet.
Vs whales and aggro regs and fish I can't fold because they could be spazzing/valuebetting worse, also even top regs could play that spot with raises and enough bluffs, making AA an easy call.
Now vs nits I prefer folding, if they wanna beat me in that spot they will have to take some classes with satanskate lol.
You are right to be excited about that spot, a lot of people overvalue hands and like bluffing vs the small sizing and don't think about how tight my cbet should be mw (even with that sizing) and that in gto utg probably have some leads in there, so if he is range x it will strengthen his range by quite a bit, forcing everyone to play even tighter than gto.

Running well! Played 200z today, it looks so soft compared to 100z lol. At 200z it looks like I'm the boss owning people while at 100z a lot of the plays I see is someone making the spewiest play in the universe and owning me like crazy haha. People fold pairs at 200z, something I haven't seen in a while at 100z.
Maybe it's variance, but I believe that some players are naturally better against other players, this game is so complex that each of us has discovered some specific parts of the game and mastered them well, while leaving some areas behind because of how hard it is to master everything. As an example, I'm capable extracting EV with overbets that some nits won't, while some guys will be able to extract more from villain's bluffs in some spots while I'm just overfolding or valuebetting instead of trapping, some guys extract value by betting the exact sizing that will make the other guy hate his life and pay him off.
H4: vs reg, this guy was cold 4-betting a higher % than all other players at the table combined in my sample lol. He snap called btw, insane to see how can someone just snap this off like it's nothing. At least the poker gods helped me.
H7: vs whale, good fold? I used to just raise flop or ship turn, but recently I've been testing more with calling and letting him bluff OTR, I think that it will be somewhat predictable the rivers where we aren't good and also they just overbluff with their busted draws(or x/c if they get SDV). Ship turn or call?
H9: belgianproud showing some masterful plays, haha. Tbh I was surprised that he was capable of overbetting that thin vs 2 people. Not that I think his sizing was good with his hand or anything, just interesting to see that some people have more balls than we expect
BB shows T A (One Pair, Tens)
(Pre 68%, Flop 87%, Turn 7%) SB shows 9 T (Two Pair, Tens and Nines)
(Pre 32%, Flop 13%, Turn 93%) SB wins 78.94 BB
H10: terrible play by me OTR, it's just a jam. It makes 0 sense to have any other sizing than a jam in that spot(if we consider villain has very few flushes/FHs in his range). He snap called.
