I’ve been doing Skype sessions with Rapidesh and he’s easily one of the best thinkers about poker on this forum.

You can employ a basic strat to beat most of the limits in our games today, as long as you deviate when it’s appropriate based on your opponents (and less importantly the pool’s tendencies).

If he can conquer the most important aspect of poker (the mental one) it’s only a matter of time before he starts finding a solid winrate in these games. He talks himself into doing things that aren’t profitable at times, but he also learns from his mistakes and has improved a lot since he started. Once he has a better base of what works and what doesn’t, he will start employing that automatically and will be free to use his ideas for profitable exploits, and he will be a very good player.

Cool. I would help develop ultra-efficient solar panels to completely eliminate the need for coal-based power. Then I would use the proceeds to help starving children in third world countries. Talk is cheap, and you've done nothing but talk and make smartass comments this entire thread.

I may be a smartass but at least I don't do it under the guise of being some morally superior godsend from heaven. Talking about stopping human trafficking rofl, save it. There are people at this moment dedicated to doing exactly what you pretend you want to do.

lol your reading comprehension is tragic. I was asked a question about what I would do if I had enough money to retire at 21. I was just being honest with what my dream scenario would be.

I'm not sure if this might be an unpopular opinion but I miss mirage and mzbourg just trolling hands. Now this thread has turned into personal arguments instead.

No, I just like playing live and don't play competitive anymore, so there isn't much point in playing online if I'm not going to GPs anymore and it's funnier to play IRL.

People are saying good things about it though, it looks that they finally managed to make a good online game lol. Magic online was pure cancer, looked like windows 95 software.

Rapidesh is hands down the person I met who has the biggest love for the game, as well as a rock-solid perseverance and motivation. He might not play mid or high stakes yet, but the #1 thing in poker is to enjoy playing.

For me poker is a video game that allows you to make or lose money.

Yea were you enjoying yourself on your little 25 bi downswing? or did you ''need to take a break rn too demoralizing'' most people hate their jobs but still slave away does that make them trolls? a means to an end. You just haven't suffered enough yet to see it from the other side.
