There was also a hand where I folded AK TPTK in a 3-bet pot(200 bb deep) vs a big 3-bet pre from a nit and a pot sized bet OTT with no flush draw on the board. Don't know why PT missed that one. Probably need to update my PT4 lol!

yeah, went in there after a break, saw that there were tons of fish, people opening for 10x pre-flop and a lot of people I've marked as whales.
Will keep playing 50z during the week and 100z during the weekends.

Good to see you doing well Rapi

I would say get some decent sample at 100z before you even play 200z, regardless of how good the pool looks.

Admire you for posting your hands and dealing with the onslaught, keep grinding

It was risky with 20 bi, but when you're confident and the pool is very soft, it's ok to play some random sessions imo.

thanks, man!
04-15-2018 , 08:33 AM
Zoom pools fluctuate between softer and tougher at random times. You caught the pool at one of those rare softer times and now you're wrongly extrapolating the logic that "the pool is always soft".
04-15-2018 , 10:35 AM
Read what I have posted, man, I.said I jumped in the pool because it was soft at the time. I even said that I was playing 50z during the weekdays.
From what people say, 200z is way.tougher than 100z on average.

I reckon you would raise both those hands on the turn, on such a wet board, or you would just flat river with 67s.

no, I mostly call OTT after checking back, not optimal I guess, but I think it's hard to make a raising range there that isn't vulnerable to a shove and protect me well on most rivers.

yeah, I never jam 67s there, I'm such a pussy lol

H2: vs fish, didn't have much info on him. OTF it's ok to fold, but I think he has a lot of midpair type of hands that will pay me off a lot when I get a Q OTT. OTR I think bluffing for pot is good vs some fish, but since I didn't have enough sample on the guy, just gave up, since one of the easiest ways to lose money is to bluff fish. Even though fish are super afraid of the flush, I needed more info to pull the trigger, since there are guys that never fold OTR. Good? Or should I go for it OTR? I'm usually very happy to bluff people, but time has taught me to always think twice vs fish lol.

H4: vs semi-unknown that looked like a passive player. I think river it's a call vs most people, everyone always snap me off in those spots, but usually unknowns underbluff like crazy, also there were so many big draws in there OTT that I think villain will have a lot of pair + busted draws OTR that he will be more likely to check back than turn them into bluffs. Good way of thinking? He could have a ton of 2-pairs too, and I don't think people valuebet JQ/JK there because they're super afraid of the check-raise. Maybe block betting the river is a better strat vs unknowns?

I'm so unmotivated right now, guys. It seems that whenever I'm winning a lot, I feel I'm not worth it, I get so much motivation when getting completely destroyed, but when I'm finally winning, I don't feel like playing. Or when I play, I'm just clicking buttons saying stuff like "whatever, let's just get it in", or bluffing without reasons but "well, because they fold".

I'm so used to losing that when I start progressing at something I feel very uncomfortable. I'm such a mental game fish, meh. Also volume is super low, I don't know if I'll be able to get to my 50k hands goal, maybe if I start putting some 2k days again. I just quit my last session because I felt I wasn't capable of being a profitable player there in 50z, the sickest thing is that I've worked so hard in poker and I deserve to have good results, but somehow in my mind I don't.

Some of the hands where I played without having solid reasons about my play. Not saying those plays are bad, but doing them without some reasoning behind is insanely bad.

H6: OTT I have the feeling I should bet small or check with some parts of my range, is that right? Like checking some with straights, Qx, sets, betting some of those for that 33% too. Or should I stick to both bet or check with range? Which of those options is better to take as a 100% frequency play with my range?

Not with that sizing and I think theyre more likely to bet trips and be more tricky with the nuts. Very std fold imo.

When he called and I saw the queen, I first thought "lol, why was he tanking so much to call me with the nut straight?" Then I saw the replayer and saw that he actually had Q high, jesus
