Space Wizard here, welcome to my thread and thank you for joining me on this adventure. Throughout the next couple months we'll be making a great effort to build up a decent sized bankroll on ACR from zero.

Objective:

-Grind up a bankroll and move up the ranks
-Turn $0 into a four figure plus roll
-Improve Tournament game
-Improve Cash game
-Improve Mental game
-Plug Life Leaks
-Continue progress with Physical Therapy
-Have Fun

Roadmap:

-Grind freerolls/freebuy and $.10 tournaments until sufficient funds to move over to cash
-Take shots at cash games once roll is healthy
-Figure the rest on the fly; remain flexible
-Profit?????????

Hello all,

Shipped a freeroll this morning and cashed in another. Took 4 days to grow the goose egg. Seeing as its a beautiful day and I could use some movement, I'm headed out to the skatepark. I'm going to put in another session tonight when I get back.

Took shorter than expected but I am happy we are off to a good start.

Updates should be more frequent now that I'm not just playing freerolls in my free time. Going to keep grinding those and the freebuys as well at the .10 100GTD until the end of the week.

Still grinding out the freerolls and freebuys, dabbled in alittle PLO8, pretty lost in that game. Fired a few bullets in the $100GTD just missed a cash. I'm going to a music festival next weekend, so I'm starting to prepare for that. It's going to be awesome. But for now back to the grind. Going to be playing tonight, looking for some deep runs.

Still figuring out what direction I'm going in with this thread besides just a little journal of this adventure. Probably best to just let it grow naturally.

I have experienced a little fatigue and a small amount of burn out both physically and mentally. Just have to remember to keep a balanced schedule. That is something that could use a bit more work/effort. Still leaps and bounds better than this time last year in those departments but not near what I know I'm capable of.

Side note, my cat climbed a tree yesterday, not once but twice, had to coach her down both times. Was way to funny. Shes awesome.





Bank roll is sitting at $2.90 halfway through the first week.

Update:

Took 8th in the $100GTD last night. Played well, but couldn't close it out. Next time. Played a freebuy this afternoon, built a little stack then lost a flip. Those things are such a crap shoot. Free money free money doe.

The roll is slowly building. I happy with the progress so far. I'm brainstorming some ways in which I would like to take this thread. I just went and started it because well sometimes I get cold feet, so bare with me while I organize this a bit more.

Update:

My body has been a bit tense lately so I didn't play as much as I planned over the weekend. Bubbled the $100GTD saturday by 4 spots. I could have stuck it out and min cashed but it would have been too close, I rather play for the win than just the min cash. Built up decent stacks in some freerolls and one of the freebuys, then ran into some coolers. I'm happy with my play overall for the first week. Shaking off some cobwebs and getting those poker gears turning again.

Seeing as I'm preparing for Mysterland USA this weekend with a lady friend, my cousin and a few others volume will be low this week. If anyone is going to be at Mysteryland leave a post here and lets meet up. The boat is going to be rock'n saturday!

I have physical therapy today, first time I could go in like a month. I've been holding up well though compared to previous months so I'm happy about that. Might go and play a small SnG tonight at a local place that runs a league, need to lock in a few more points to qualify for the $5K freeroll that should be in July.

Also working on workout schedule so I can organize my time a little better and stay on track. Hope everyone lurking has a wonderful Mondaze.

Update:

Mysteryland was a great time. Scored ultra VIP passes. Met lucy for the first time, gramatik and griz were amazing.The Fire dome was mesmerizing. The weather was Beautiful during the day but cold at night. The music was great as well as the vibes.

Ended up getting sick after getting back. Just getting back into things. Body is feeling it after everything. Leaving for a two week adventure which includes a trip to Bonnaroo with a lady friend in a few days.

Lots of re-evaluations going on.... All eyes shifting to the WSOP and those beautiful bracelets.

Currently ITM in the $100GTD, 60 left sitting in 9th with ~36k

Roll has taken a hit here and there, looking to replenish tonight.

Update:

Leaving to head down to BONNAROO in about an hour or so. Stoked to be going. It's going to be a great festival with so much music! Looking forward to this two week excursion. Shouts to my homegirl that's making this possible.

I'm grateful to be where I'm at; thinking back, I've come a long way. Still a ways to go, this is only but one adventure on this journey.

Not much poker has been played lately.

Looking forward to getting back on the grind after this trip. It's time to organize my goals for online, live and my life. Looking to work on becoming healthier and a more focused poker player. Time to get back in the game.

So it's been almost two months since the start of this thread. I haven't really put all that much effort into it like I expected. My outlook and plan have changed as well. The bankroll hasn't quite made it over a few dollars at its highest peak. As of now the bankroll has reached its low after some cash and a botched tourney.

I'm going to continue to work on my recovery physically and grind online when I feel.

I'll update this as we move forward. For now we dabble in some live donkaments.
