Anyways, it's time for me to start my own PG&C thread after lurking this forum for years. It's time for me to put some pressure and challenge myself like i haven't before. Doing it in "public" just makes it that more fun.

Hopefully i can entice someone else to start the same journey ive been on, it surely is worth it. The free lifestyle that comes with poker. A life that actually can be achieved in the micros. What life am i talking about? Well the traveling lifestyle. Ive been to alot of places over the years and its been absolutely fantastic. Being able to work on the go is priceless.

That said, im home now and wish to stay here for a while. Im back in university and will be for 3-4 years. Meantime i hope to make a few hundred thousand dollars via coaching/staking and playing.

I absolutely love poker, but i haven't challenged myself to the extent that i should've. I blaim it on the traveling and partying. So hopefully without much of either the next 4 years, ill move up in stakes and make alot more money than i have before.

Short history about me. Iv'e played poker for about 5 years. 3 of them seriously. I have played HUSNGs, MTTs and cashgames. Cashgames being my specialty and cashcow. I have played
up to NL100, but most of the last 3 years i have been a solid NL50 reg. Sadly, that's still what i am. Fortounatly, im going to put my soul into moving up. So its all going to be good in due time.

This year i havent gotten to play as much as ive wanted too. Was traveling through Asia and Europe. That said, i studied my ass off and its been paying off on the tables. Going forward though, im going to be putting in atleast 160 hours a month at the tables. Need to make sure i beat variance best i can whilest trying to move up in stakes.

Oh yeah, im in my mid 20's with German and Swedish decent. I love football... Who dosen't. Studying a masters in economics and statistics. Work out alot and meditate daily.

Im playing on all sites, so no need to ask about that :P sometimes i play zoom or fastfold, most times i play 8 regular tables combined with 4 mtts.

Now onto the threadmaker.

Got a new PC last December, so thats where my graph starts:

( Mostly NL50 but alot of NL25 in it aswell ).



After the start its been a steady ride. Around 8bb/100 over all stakes. Running quite abit under ev. Playing 25.3 / 19.4 / 9.1 over all hands.

So i guess thats it for now.

Ill be posting as often as i can. Not alot of strategy, more to prove anyone can do this with enough effort being put in.

Ok so short review of May as a month:

- Made around 1.5k at the tables. Didnt get to play that much.

- Studied a fair amount and feel GREAT when playing.

- ReReading MGOP 1 and 2 greatly improved my mental game aswell.

So all in all a very good month.

Ok so onto June, which is going to be exciting

I plan to:

- Play 200hours of cashgames+mtts on the side.

- Play a 6 hour session.

- Play 12 hours during one day.

- Make 4000$ pre-rakeback ( Via cash tables only )

All of these 4 goals are records for me. So its going to be a VERY exciting month for me personally Will test myself in totally new ways.

Its going to be great.

Had my first session of the month. A swingy but interesting one. Expanding my game and playing looser than ever before. Loving it. People are still quite easy to exploit if you put some time into breaking down the field your playing on. ( Talking nl25-50 that is ). But sure its the same at any stake.

Another thing that came to mind and has become blatantly obvious is that i NEED to have 100% focus while playing. No facebook, skype, movies or even music.

I need all the attention to deduct hands and use the information available at the table. Every time i diverge from being 100% focused i get absolutely smashed. So here on forward its only poker.

100% Focus = More A game play = Less variance = Happier Panda.

So the start of the month has been rough, i dont know the results as of yet but i know im cashing in them Sklasky bucks or whatever their called :P

Im playing quite ok thou so im happy with that. Results will turn around. Or maybe they have. Well see.

Its all about beating the variance so lets grind grind grind. GL to all

Checked results by mistake. And they were not nearly as bad as i thought. All i need to up is the volume and ill have my best month in 4k



4 Days into the month. Now its time for the sunday grind, hope to put in 6-8 hours.

Heater seems to be on, not EV wise but generally. Running real well and realistically will be having my biggest month ever super early to say i know, but i just feel it lol.

What's avg rakeback?

Whatever SN is at PS. Got highest at Party aswell. Ipokers the same. So to be fair, i dont know. But have good deals at all places.

Used to be a rakebackgrinder, turned into only looking at winnings. Rakeback i more consider to be a bonus.

This change of view on things led me to work harder on my game and focusing on high WR instead of many tables and high %RB.

**** yeah. A $1500 bonus each month is certainly rather handy.

Broke up with GF last night. We've been together for 4 years almost. To cut it short, i want more ME time and just work on my game and explore the world in all its ways, she in turn is looking to start a family. And i aint having none of that :P not right now.

So that said. Its been a rough day, luckily the poker gods are rewarding me for my sacrifice.

Doing better than ever? at the tables. Results im not sure off. Probably really good. But i just cant seem to lose right now. Hope i dont jinx it but it really feels amazing right now.

Think im up 1.2k thus far pre rakeback. So according to my calculations ill need around 160 more hours this month to complete my goal of a 4k$+ month pre rakeback.

So ill just track volume up until 30th of June, then ill post graph.

So as of now, were at 0/160 hours!
