Yeah structures pretty bad, plays similar to a 180 tho so I feel I do have an edge, but yeah it is pretty much a waste of time specially if playing 2/5

You might also have an edge because most of the people that play it are brain dead. I'm just sayin'.

*****Unfortunately my time with Ana was very limited, about 9 months into having the greatest dog in the world my dad got a really good job offer back in Dallas. At the time we lived out in east Texas, there was 100+ acres of pure woods behind our house which is heaven for any dog being able to run free and not being confined. So regretfully I gave her to one of my dads friends who had a horse ranch. I still wonder sometimes how her life turned out, I'm sure she had a great time chasing horses and going hunting, (15 years ago and I still tear up thinking about it). *****

Unfortunately it's a must, to stop and think before you get a pet that (depending on your age) you will most likely out live him/her and accept the hardship with these losses!
Like I said earlier my wife and I have a dog whom is 17yrs old. My wife adopted 16 years ago. It's going to be very sad around my house for a solid month when her life is complete.
I can only imagine having to leave your best friend behind while you move away. It helps to know that she lived a great life and i'm sure she thought about you as much as you did her... Cheers to good peeps and awesome pets!

Bleh, didn't play particularly well that second session. Pulled some bluffs that really didn't make a whole lot of sense and didn't run very well either. Lost $440, probably going to take the day off today. If I do anything interesting ill take some pics and post them.

You should also consider Friday 220 at winstar. Structure is fast, but not crapshoot at all. Many people don't understand chip stacks relative to blinds in the tournament and will frequently blind off entire stacks. I have chopped those a couple times for around 4k, so it would only take 5-6 hours for your months profit. Just a thought. I'll be playing it Friday, so maybe ill see you there

Alright back to the grind today. Taking the bus really has not worked out just yet, it looks like there are some decent storms coming thru the area today and to tell you the truth I just feel much more comfortable driving myself with my 4x4 Silverado than someone else driving a big bus.

Last session you forgot to include a song of the day. That is a pretty big fundamental mistake that you paid the price for. Looks like you are back on track though and should run well again.

Alright so today I have decided to replace the L in lag with a T. As several in this thread many of the 1/2 players don't know there ass from there mouth let alone a range I'm trying to rep. So the plan is to just have the range that I am repping in these big pots. Just dragging small pots right now up 55, will keep updated

Bleh, utg raises to 12 I flat with KK next, 2 others call, flop KT2r, utg bets 30, I flat sb calls other guy folds, turn Qh putting flush draw out there, sb shoves for 80 utg folds I call, he has AJ. I think like how I played the hand, pre I 3 bet gives away my hand, flop is pretty dry and don't wanna shut the action down and pots big enough to get stacks in, turn is just unlucky

Fancy play syndrome (similar to your bluffs, but now with strong hands). Really no place for this at 1/2.

Since I don't know the table dynamics, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt preflop, but on that flop there is no excuse for not trying to get the money in the middle. Players will chase draws so you lose a lot of value by not raising the flop and of course there are cooler hands like villain has a King or a set and is never folding if you raise. BTW, I disagree that is a dry board. Two broadway cards and possible up and down straight draw is not a dry board IMO despite being a rainbow flop (especially because if the straight comes you are never folding, so just get the money in the middle now).

In general, to maximize your value at this level, just play your hands face up. In the games I play in I will 3-bet a hand like KK pre and players will call me down with bottom pair because they "put me on AK" You will make money playing your hands face up because villains have poor poker fundamentals, poor hand reading skills, and just suck in general. There is little to no room for thinking on levels here.

Also, you are relatively young so most players will think you are bluffing anyways (ie they will think you are an internet player playing on a higher level just trying to steal pots, but in fact you will just be playing solid poker because that is what beats this game).

Obv, if you play against a solid reg then you can trick it up some, but you should find at 1/2 that those are few and far between.

Alright, so that was a pretty long session and was stuck from pretty much the get go. Lots of just second best hands that ate typically good, several flush over flush, 2 pair over 2 pair, get a shorty all in when he's drawing, went 2/8 with KK lmao. But was stuck a little over 500 at one point, I dig really deep and grinded out a $3 profit lol (-$27 after gas) but I'm really pumped that I didn't not tilt bc of running bad an getting coolered, just kept my nose to the grindstone and was able to get it back in the green.

Today was great, I played about 2 hours of 10nl on carbon up just over 2 bi (ran pretty terrible the last half hour and dropped 3 bi) got some stuff done around the apartment, got some cod time in (I am a baller at black ops 2 btw), and ran around the lake for a little exercise.

Then had a dinner with my dad and his new wife, they got married on Estes park Colorado and bc of work I wasn't able to go sigh. The greatest part of the night was the fact that my uncle had surprised us by bringing my grandpa who I hadn't seen in 2 years. He was recently diagnosed with cancer so I was very excited to har a chance to spend some time with him.

Well been awake for about an hour now with no sleep in sight, when to bed pretty early tho last night about 10ish. So I think I'm just gunna go ahead and go north and get a nice long session in.

I've got my dads wedding reception tonight at 730 so normally I would have to cut my session short and leave around 5ish. So my insomnia is actually a blessing in disguise. Gotta make a quick trip to Starbucks tho.
