I started out the challenge playing cash because I wasn't looking to be confined to the computer for long periods of time, but as I kept playing I was putting in 8+ hour sessions anyway. Down about ~$350 this week, I think I added the $16.50s to fast, ran pretty horrendous in them though, bubbled 2 of them with AKs, and 1 with AKo. The one with AKo I only had 12bb, but being on the direct bubble I think I could/should have folded it. EP open, mp 3b to 7bb. So he's calling no matter what he 3b with. So that was likely a massive punt.

I took the $16.50s out rather quickly, to much stress when looking at the BR after playing them. So I will likely be playing a bit more conservative compared to the image i posted below. Will throw in some $11s occasionally, but mainly playing $8.80 or lower. I will also be changing the thread title, as it is very unlikely that I will make General, so I will consider that failed for now.

current bankroll: $1,100~ + $670 in combat points. I will likely be converting these to real $ soon, as playing tournaments I won't be able to keep Colonel for another month. I only have ~520 RP this month, so no where near being able to clear 7500.

I didn't play today unfortunately, had some other stuff going on. But in the last two days I have won and came second in a tournament. Which puts me back at ~$1,490. Thinking about posting my screen name as I don't think it matters that much when I am playing low stakes MTTs. To be fair it probably didn't matter much playing 25nl though either. Still undecided about cashing in the rewards, but I probably should since I don't believe I will make this high of a rank again only playing mtts. Got a nice ~$350 refund from the bots, since my last post I started playing on BOL, although I haven't played in the last two weeks ish. Last time I posted my roll was at $1,500. Now with the refund it's around $2,700. Been crushing it on BOL, might start grinding some cash games on ACR again. We will see!

Hello everyone! Haven't updated in a long time, I ran up a roll on betonline, cashed out all of my ACR roll, and after ran up and down a roll playing between 50z and 200z on ignition. From the above post I cashed out roughly $3k from betonline. Lost between $1,500&$1,600 on ignition.

So why the update? Started playing on ACR again, mainly grinding blitz between 6 and 9 tables. Started off on 10/23 when I got 8th in a freeroll for $35, after the freeroll I deposited $100 and started playing blitz (10nl). Things are a little different this time since I average 50-70 hours a week at work. So I don't have a lot of time to grind endlessly, but two of the last four beast races I cashed in the $100 tier, on the other two week I cashed only for the ticket. About 2 weeks after I started I switched from VIP rewards to rakeback, and I am blown away how much better rakeback is for me at least. The graph below doesn't include all hands, and there is a small amount of 50z in there, but mainly from 10z. I play from my phone at work occasionally, so none of those hands are tracked. As of right now my balance is $667.83

If you were folding 78% vs 3bets and only 3 betting 5.8% you are definitely not ready for 25NL on pretty much any site.

Also, my advice is to stop this irrational need to grind grind grind. Instead, do 50k hands a month instead, play less tables and spend time studying by watching as many free videos as you can.

You should grind 2NL for 100k hands, while studying then post results and stats. This should take 2 or 3 months or so. 4-6 tabling. Then repeat for 5NL, 10NL. Once you have 300k hands with proven results of 3bb minimum and 6 months of volume plus studying, then you can push into 25NL. Personally I remember 25NL being almost impossible to break through, the 10NL to 25NL jump was insane on the site I grinded on.

taking 8 to 12 months to legitimately go from 2NL to 50NL should be nice. Then at the end of the following year you could maybe take your first 200NL shots. It probably will take you even longer unless you get a coach.

Just a quick skim through the thread I feel like you are on life support every month and the only thing that keeps you from quitting is running at 0bb but also getting rakeback. This is not sustainable.

Do appreciate the advice, but the majority of my thread is old, I assume everything you read was from earlier this year.

I also messed up when I was grinding previously because general was most likely unattainable for me. So in that period of time I lost well over $1000 in rakeback. As of now I have a job working 50+ hours every week.

The other thing that most people have mentioned (which I think is good advice) is to play less tables. But I have never enjoyed playing just 4 or 6 tables. I feel like when I play less tables I overthink situations a lot more. The most important thing to me when playing poker is to enjoy it and have fun, money is always secondary.

Doesn't seem like there is a lot of interest for the thread, so I may just post weekly or stop posting. Brutal session, but made a sick comeback some how.
