Before my current session (down ~$250 atm) I was like ~$60 above breakeven without converting my combat points. But I get the $250 from beast today, so still b/e-ish. After dumping my $1.4k Right now the bankroll is $1320 again, with $50 in tourney bucks and 38k combat points. Trying to save them up to cash in $4k at general, but we will see how that plays out.

ACR reg tables aren't horrible, but they for sure aren't great by any means. Whenever blitz comes to the client I will play it for sure, but not really looking forward to playing on mobile. Thinking about putting some of my roll back on bovada to play zone again.

My stop loss today was $300 in ev, was sitting out all tables next bb and lost a AIPF at 50nl (130bb) , after that I just closed all the tables. Will try to grind again later or tomorrow, but back to 25nl/10nl for now. Roll is somewhere around 850 before the beast so $1,1k ish after the beast. Just pretty much got owned all night.

Decided that I will be playing 25nl & 50nl since the BR is over $1,300 again. I'm undecided on where I want to drop at, but I am thinking $1,000 is a good number to drop, especially because I like to play so many tables. When I setup my grind I usually try to fill it up with 25nl, then add in the 50nl after. Taking a break for now, but I might grind out some more later. My cold is still here, but the worst of it is over. I would like to try to push for the $1,000 tier on the beast, but not sure if I want to try it this week, or maybe wait a few weeks. Being able to get to the $1,000 tier would be super nice.

My short-handed game is terrible, I think I made two pretty big misplays 3 handed today, but got pretty lucky. Almost back to where I was before the $500 loss, like $50 short or so. I also think I am starting to call down to light vs some people, going to have to do some review today and make some adjustments.

have you considered how much you would benefit from taking one day off a week and spending the amount of effort you do playing into studying? And cut your hands/hr down to 800 or so. You would progress much much faster

Aside from reading the Grinder's manual, and watching videos/concepts on youtube I am not really sure what ways are good to study. I review hands daily, watch streams when I am not playing of cash game players. Last year or so I had a sub at runitonce, but there are tons of videos. Some of the videos were helpful, but I felt like some of them were not so useful. If you don't mind sharing what are some ways you would recommend to study? I think I also might need to add more stats to my hud.

Cutting my hands/hr down is always possible and it has been the number one thing everyone has always said to me. And I do agree that cutting my tables most likely would result in an increase in my win-rate. But, one of the things I enjoy the most about poker is the spots, and decisions that come with each hand. Overtime I would obviously play the same spots, and have more time for each decision. It just brings me joy, and I don't believe my play suffers a ton while playing 16-18 tables. I did notice when I played 18-24 tables I was timing out a lot, and having my decisions rushed in a lot of spots.

I was putting in a decent session today, registered the $5.50 10k and $22 100k, but busted both of them with a few flips. After I busted the tournaments my cold came out in full force again and I was feeling a bit nauseous so I quit the tables, and have just been relaxing for now. Will update everything else later as I will probably start playing again shortly.

Games are dying out tonight, I've been mixing 10nl-50nl for the last few days. But, I'm not really in the mood to grind, just going to chill out for a little. I may play again later, or some on Monday. I don't foresee myself getting 50k this week though. After reviewing the last few days worth of hands I was definitely calling down to light otr vs some of the Russian regs. At 50nl so far it seems like people GII lighter preflop, and call down more "correct" postflop.

I have now recovered all of the money from my first shot at 50nl, but I am also sun-running at 50nl currently. Still undecided about putting money on Bovada, when or how much I would want to put on. Focusing on making General is just something that I think would be awesome. Being able to move up to 100nl would make grinding for General a lot easier, but I don't believe I am anywhere near ready for that. To move up to 100nl this time I will wait until 35-40 buy-ins minimum. I wonder what stakes, and how much you have to play to be a 5 star General. Oh & I cleared the full $240 from the re-deposit bonus.

The bottom session is missing ~$37 I think. Somehow one hand got lost, and it doesn't want to be fixed. Ran AKs into AA 3x today at 50nl, 2x for ~130bb ish. So overall today my grind was pretty good. Bankroll is somewhere around ~$1,550.

Volume Goal: 45.6k/50k so I almost made it. If I play any sessions after this post I will count them for next week. Good news is that I have secured a $250 spot on the beast this week already.

I'm thinking about updating weekly instead of daily. I set a stop loss of $200 after the $400 losing session, losing $400 hurts quite a bit. The night I lost $400, I played a few tournaments and final tabled a few. Running pretty poorly atm in terms of card distribution, but I was on fire for a few days so it is pretty much a moot point. I want to push through and grind to get the 1k tier, but I'm not sure I can make it. Bankroll is currently around $1,400 I think. $1,450 maybe.

Cool, thanks for the reply! I did enjoy playing on PPP, and I was making a lot more money, I just hate the low amounts of volume on PPP. My biggest goal is being able to beat the games on ACR, because everyone says they are "hard."

Hit my stop loss like 3 times yesterday, keep running KK into AA, AKs into AA and losing all my JJ/QQ to AK, but whatever, it's all one big sick grind. I am trying really hard to push into the 1k tier, after this week I might remove the 50nl games again. Try to grind out more at 25nl/10nl, but I need to start making more hero folds. Every time I call down with an over pair they have a boat Thinking about starting to short stack, that way I can play more straight forward, and feel comfortable about stacking off with TPTK

Bankroll is around $1.1k

After that last session I definitely need to take a break. Went over my stop loss trying to get to the 1k tier at the beast, and came no where near close. Starting to feel like getting in AKo/AKs preflop is not profitable vs a lot of the players. Some of them get in TT+, but it seems like a lot of them aren't even 5b shoving QQ, I could just be running horrific though, small sample size. I think I lost around $600 yesterday in 2 sessions. So after the beast the BR is between ~750-800.

Ty! But I don't think I am a better player, it just seems like people are exceptionally tight, hardly anyone is every 4b/5b bluffing. I only saw a handful of people do it, and two of them were higher stakes regs filling 25nl/50nl grinding for the beast.

After the last session I probably shouldn't play cash without getting coached, or at least stay away from 50nl. Even though I was running bad I was making some horrible mistakes. I will continue playing, but I will be focusing more on MTTs. Thankfully because of MTTs, rakeback, and the bonuses I still have a decent roll, around $900.

Since I started playing poker I always wanted to be a cash crusher, specifically on ACR, that was always my goal. But, I don't think I have what it takes currently to even beat 25nl, maybe breakeven at best. I have always been profitable in MTTs, the decisions come to me a lot easier, and it feels like the errors in MTTs are totally different compared to cash. If I really want to grind cash I should just put money on bovada and grind there. If I start to grind MTTs and stop grinding cash there is no way I will make General. As of right now I have 23.6k RP with 54k combat points, debating on turning them into $. A lot of people have been telling me to grind less tables which is something I would be forced to do on bovada, but my problem with doing that on ACR is that I wanted to push General. So if I decide to give up on grinding to General maybe I will try playing 4-6 tables on ACR.

Thanks for reading, and hopefully there will be more updates.

I have always had a similar problem of totally doubting myself when I go on a downswing, but I think its for good reason. Since I am not a proven winner, actually a proven loser at cash games on ACR over all my larger samples. Like I said about I would like to be a winning cash player, but I'm not sure I can currently. Not until I can deal with my mental problems revolving around cash.

Interesting hand at the FT yesterday, turbo, 4th is ~$140, 1st is $460 or so. I've seen them minraise QQ+, and shove 22 & 99, I tanked before calling. But I feel that if I want to win this a decent spot to take, pay jump to 3rd was around $60 more and $160 more or so to 2nd. My reason behind calling is that I'm only behind 88-TT/ JJ maybe, in his shoving range, dominating some lower of his lower pairs and flipping vs his broadways. I think 77 is the worst hand I am calling here, folding 22-66 pretty happily, I would much rather have 99 or TT here though. Bankroll is around $1,050 again.

Going to start mixing 4-6 tables of 25nl again soon, but running amazing in tournaments currently. Had ~$110 in buy-ins yesterday, with one of them being the $22 50k, busted pretty much all of my tournaments with a few min cashes, and won a $3.30 1.5k, so ended up with a net positive of around $200. Bankroll is around $1,300 again. Still debating on if I just want to play cash on bovada or not. I think over my 150k sample I was only losing at -3bb/100, and I have a ton of room for improvement.

Playing a light schedule today, or mostly skipping today unfortunately. Looking to update on Sunday / Monday from now on. This week was pretty uneventful, but yesterday was pretty nice. Ended up at 3 final tables yesterday and shipping the smallest tournament I played all day, but it brought me to profit for the day after being down ~$250 . Bankroll is at $1,340 now. Been playing anywhere from $0.50 to $12 tournaments. Also feeling a lot more joy playing tournaments, even when I was losing a hefty amount. Funny thing is I haven't been playing more than 9 tournaments at a time, generally 6 or less.

Yea it's a really trivial fold with the two smaller stacks. Huge punt to call off here.

What a day.........

Yesterday I was down about ~$300 ish so roll was around $1k ish and then I withdrew $250, so ~$750 or a little lower(still have $600+ in combat points). I told myself today was my last day playing $11s, and I would mix in the $22 50k, I also decided last minute to throw in a $22 plo8. I cashed, and ran deep in several tournaments today, everything was looking great. I was up around $650+ and still had the $22 50k, $5.5 10k, a $11 7k, and a few other tournaments. And then BAM, all of the power within 15 minutes+ of me is out. What sucks it I was shoving AJs for my last ~15bb when it happened. Finally the power comes back on I busted out of all of the remaining tournaments, or had 5bb or less. Still a very good Sunday as I doubled my roll from this morning. Hope everyone has a great week, and thanks for reading my rant post

Bankroll is at $1,480. So I will keep playing some $11s, and all the other smaller tournaments.

Nice, tournaments more relaxed for you? I just don’t have the stamina for long tournament sessions lol I need a new chair I think.
