If PA and MI get in, that will be a huge addition. Both are large states.
Do you have to reside in-state to play on these sites? I think WSOP has an online event every summer so I assume as long as you're in Nevada, you can play. But for example if one was visiting NJ or DE, would they be able to play online anywhere?
You can reside anywhere but when you are playing you have to be in the state borders. They use Geolocation to see if you are.
PokerStars does have a NJ specific poker room and they aren’t part of the pool. In NJ it’s 888 poker.
I’m in Delaware. On my end I see Delaware Park poker. If I went to NJ I’d have to have an account on 888nj. As far as I know 2 accounts aren’t against the rules as long as someone doesn’t log in to one and I’m on my other one playing.
Played 2 tourneys today. Bubbled the $1 rebuy but cashed the $1000 guarantee $5 rebuy 14th place. Was profitable because I didn’t rebuy except the ads on.
I got some leaks I am seeing in my game. I’m overvaluing small pairs pre-bubble of the tourney and not folding/3 betting the enough. I was trying to set mine after the flop and missed everyone. Hurt my stack size and may of been ahead on some hands and folded thinking I was beat.
