My partner and i start our drive for vegas this upcoming monday. Our plan is to go to Minnesota first, see my parents in central mn, and stay a few nights. From there we are going to stop near Mount Rushmore for a night, then head to Yellowstone for a few nights (see Old Faithful and hike a tiny bit). From there it's a day drive to the beautiful Las Vegas Strip!

The first 5 nights in vegas we are staying at Aria , we move into the condo we are renting on the 1st. The place we are getting is in a gated community 20 min from the Rio, has a pool/gym/spa etc. Should be really nice, but its disappointing a bit to be that far from the Rio >.< . My first event is a $1500 buy-in on the 28th.

For the summer i'm planning on doing a mixture of video blog, montage of pics/footage, and some written stuff here. I'd like to be able to Negreanu it up and do weekly video blog and w/e, but i'm going to be soooo busy that I won't really have time to set it up and all (and I'm very inexperienced with that kind of thing). So it seems like doing a mix of everything will be the most interesting for you guys and still be easy enough for me to pull off.

Played my first event yesterday, lasted until near the end of day 1, had some really fun table draws. played with lisandro, captain tom, some 2+2ers, team wispy, david vamplew, and allen cunningham. Got to see a lot of the game's greats as well. Was a great day, am very happy with how i played, and am very excited for future events.

I am taking lots of pictures, and also taking notes on what happened throughout each day (hands and stuff, interesting discussions, my thoughts on whatever...). Will eventually write out a full TR with pics and stuff, as well as do a few videoblogs and stuff (and eventually make a montage of all the pics from my trip/the summer with music).

Today is my BF's birthday so i am taking the day off, my next event is tomorrow and is a 1500$ PLHE.

I am very excited for the next few months and can't wait to see what it brings!

Grinding like a mofo here is vegas. Been playing great and bricking everything (0/12). Have met a lot of cool people though and even had a picture taken with a hero of mine (Boston Rob from survivor).

Happy overall with everything, and very excited for the next 7 weeks of poker. #leggo

Nearly had a nice score here. Ended up taking 8th/553 in a 600$ buy-in venetian deep stack event. First was 66k. Ended up busting on a river 2 outer (1010 aipf vs 77, QQ357) in a 1.3m pot for 2/8.

The cash was good for 7.1k, so at least i'm now down under 5figs here.

I've met a lot of awesome people out here, and have some pretty good stories from it. I would like to actually write up a trip report, but i likely wont have time until after the wsop ends, as i've been grinding long hours and been super busy. Hopefully i'll find more time for updates later in the series (than what little i have been doing), but at this rate it seems unlikely. >.<
