Note: Seems fairly pointless for me to keep making new PG & C posts every time something major changes in my career. Poker is a very unstable industry to be in at the moment, so i expect for **** to happen a lot over the next few years. Might as well just consildate all my pointless bs and ramblings in 1 big thread and just update the first post with cliffs to major happenings in my journeys as a poker pro.

About me: I am a 21 year old poker pro from the midwest, i primarily grind mtt's and 180's (my stars name is Protentialmn). I have been playing professionally for the last 1.5 years or so, all of which have been with my backer baza88. I started off with him grinding 2$ 180's and worked my way up. Since joining with him i have been fortunate to have gone from have a single 4 figure score to now having dozens of 4figs and half a dozen 5figs. I also had the immense honor and luck to weasel my way into a WSOP FT at this last summer's events (8th in event 38).

My Last PG & C Thread

Recent events: After some finagling with my backer, my boyfriend, and my bf's fam, I was able to convince the important parties involved that it would be a good idea for us to move to Toronto so i may get back otg and so my bf could have time to himself to figure out what he wants to do with his life.

Moving to Toronto has not been cheap. Add that to bricking some liveaments and living expenses over the last 6months, and having to add double to make-up everything i borrow for moving and living expenses and you come up with my new make up number of $42,092. This is by far the deepest i have been in make up, the largest number before BF was 25k, and i cleared it in about 6 weeks just as BF hit (the good news is that this number includes my rent for the next 6 months, which is 21k of it).

The Plan: Once i get back otg i will be playing 12-14 hours a day 5-6 days a week. I will be grinding 180's (15's+ mostly and 3r's) and mtts. Most of my 180 grinding will be during peak hours and most of the mtt's i play will be either really soft guarantees daytime (11-109, 1r-22r) or they will be nighttime mtt's played on a mixture of Pokerstars and Partypoker. I will also grind mostly mtts on sunday (only majors will be the wu and millball probably). This is similar to the schedule i grinded right before BF hit and should be a very low variance way for me to grind out of MU (and close to optimal as far as hourly for me goes).

The number of tables i play will vary depending on whether or not im pure 180 grinding (24 max for now) or purely mtt grinding (16 max for now) or mixing (16-20 max).

As i moved to Toronto with my bf, my 1-2 days off a week will be spent primarily with him. We also each desire to get into decent shape so we will be working out 4+ days a week (before i start each session for around 1 hr), having eachother for motivation should help each of us stay on track, finally, with having a much healthier lifestyle. It should also hopefully give us beach bodies in time for PCA (which we may end up going to).

I should be back on ps within the next few days, i am waiting for the final verification to go through.

Short Term Goals:
*Play 6k games between now and Dec 21st (180's+, 20+ abi)
*Clear supernova (45k vpps away, will be close)
*top 20 monthly tlb for nov and dec
*win weekly tlb once
*Stick to our workout plan
*Stick to our eating plan
*keep my bf happy
*profit over the next 6 weeks
*Do coaching 4 hours a week
*update this regularly


Long Term Goals:
*Win monthly TLB at least once
*Turn my protege into a crushing 180 reg
*Play 20k+ games over the next 6 months
*Make 100k+ on ps over the next 6 months
*Top 5 on SS for 180 profits for 2012 by the time i leave
*Top 10 on yearly tlb for 2012 by the time i leave
*Final table another WSOP event
*Have fun, keep my passion for the game, keep my bf happy


I'd like to give a small shout-out to all of those who have helped me get to where i am currently at in my career, couldn't have made it this far without you all.

also you have more time to clear supernova, i read somewhere that stars extends it to those who were affected, ull get an extention so u should check that out.

No. He was a bank teller in the USA. He can't legally get a job in Canada, so now he is gonna figure out what he wants to do with himself.

He is some1 who loves to work and keep busy, so 6months without a legit job for him will be fairly tough.

I'm trying to convince him to learn online poker from me, however he didn't really care much about the game. I'm sure I could turn him into a crushing reg if he wanted it though. He's a smart guy and is usually really driven when he gets into something.

As long as he is happy idc about what he does.

None. We flew into the country, from what I've heard most of the people having issues have driven into the country.

**** went crazy after you left--theres special games every day, alotta plo. now some homegames want to add in stud 8 and some single/double/ or triple draw. crushing it but playing more 2-4 handed PLO and got crushed last night HU.

I have received the pc that i had mailed from the usa to here, however i am not yet back on ps. I had been told by 1 person that their confirmation took only 2 days, but another friend of mine who just got back on recently had his take 5 days. I have waited 3 so far, so hopefully im back on within the next 48 hours. really dont wana miss the sunday grind >.<

Still not back onto ps, and apparently the guy who does the final verrifications dosn't work on the weekends. So i prolly wont be back onto ps until monday or so.

I have started grinding on PartyPoker tho under the name "IGrindMakeUp". Close to break even after 27 games so far. The site seems really soft, but i doubt i'll play much on there at all, due to the ****ty software.
