Feeling burned out from poker, so I'm going to take a break. Not sure when I will be back, but I probably will be.

Been having a few 'aha' moments related to poker lately, and I'm not sure how to combine them with my current approach. Will not go too much into details, but by writing it here, I will have an idea of what I need to work on, if I return (which I probably will). Good luck, guys.

Sometimes can be good to take a break. Take some time off, and maybe spend some time just doing off-the-table work. When you're lacking the motivation to play cause things aren't going as well as you had hoped, that's usually the best time to spend working on your game. Especially since you've said you've had some 'aha moments'. Why not use this time to figure out how to incorporate those into your game? Good luck, and hope to see you back playing again in the near future.

Hey guys. For a various of reasons, I'm going to revive this thread.

Results since last update:

+ A few YOLO-stakes not worth mentioning.

I will do my best to keep this thread updated at least weekly, but more preferably daily. Expect graphs and HH's. Will be starting tomorrow.

Today was a pretty sick day. Had to give up like every 3-bet pot on the river, and it kind of affected my mental game (damn, now I have to share a losing graph). Safe to say, I was insanely tilted in the end.

Would probably sit higher stakes to win it back, if it wasn't for this thread. Going to stick to the session rules I made when starting this blog, and see where it takes me. Surprised how bad my mental game is at the moment (the reason I had to revive this), 2 lost BI's legit felt like 10+ today. Going to work with that for sure.

Decided not to update for a while as I didn't want to rely on short-term results. Reached my first 100k hands (1/9-14/10), now taking the rest of the week off (and possibly even more).

I'm also looking for the monker preflop ranges, as I want to compare them to my own ranges, if anyone has them (and want to share them), please send me a PM.

This is not the correct approach to poker in today's climate. If you have access to live nearby, play live, its much softer and much higher hourly. If not, save up enough money from a job to hire a coach and have a roll for at least 50nl. Also forget about wasting money on solvers that will probably negatively effect your win-rate at the stakes you're currently playing which are basically rake traps. At least play other sites if you're gonna grind micros where the rake is 10bb+. Work smart first, hard second.

Thanks for the advice, but it's not possible for me to fit your suggestions into my life.

Played another 100k hands, so that's from 15/10-22/11. I will probably not be playing for the next 1-2 weeks, so I decided to make up for it, by playing a lot more than I normally would.

GL at the tables.

So I wrote an update earlier this month, but simply had to cool down, and think things through. Anyway, a short summary of what has happened:

- Was terrible burned out from poker once again, realised this happens every third month or so. Had a lot of stuff going on in my life as well, so was probably also a contributing factor.

- Decided that I had to play because it was December, so I moved up expecting my motivation to rise.

- Basically been playing tilted/tired/stressed the whole time. Lost 500$ in my last session, and basically cashed out my roll and self excluded myself from poker, expecting I was done with poker.

Fast forward to now, and I actually want to play poker again. Looking back I should've self excluded myself way earlier from poker, and sort my life out instead of playing poker to relax (which in fact, probably is more stressing than relaxing). I now know, that I have to balance everything I do (so motivational I know), and I've even replugged my GPU.

I have decided that I will end this blog and make a blog for 2019, mostly because I really can't blog without having the feeling of being accountable for readers (even if I just imagine someone reads it). I will also see if I can study poker more, so I'm looking for some GTO Monker ranges for preflop (I already have PIO for postflop), so PM me if you wanna share them.

Merry Christmas/Happy New Year guys.
