Progressing through the stakes - NL5 to NL50

After lurking for a while I decided to open an own PGC to journal my poker.

I'm a 22yo german student currently finishing of my Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering and starting my Masters in October.
I will aim to put in decent volume grinding on the side while also trying to study the game and strenghten my fundamentals as I just enjoy playing the game and its mathematical aspects.
I have a few side jobs so for now there are no monetary goals I will set myself and as for BRM I will use somewhat between 20-40 BI as a rough indicator.
Goal of this PGC is essentially to reach high enough stakes that I am forced to buy the full HEM version as I only have the lowstakes one

I did make a few bucks playing recreationally, did a lot of offtable work and also watching twitch streams regularly (shoutouts to all the cash game streamers out there )
I do believe that I can beat the first stakes confidently and I am willing to put in the hours to climb up.

Expect pretty and not so pretty graphs, HHs and a bit of strategy talk.

Peace

2-4 tabling zoom for now, might mix in some reg tables and also the occasional MTT(especially on sundays)

Weather is absolutely bonkers here, 35 degrees is pretty unsual.
Caught some of the heat in todays session

Interesting hands from today and yesterday:

Hand #1

Genreally 3bet/folding from SB, flop favors him alot.
I like my line but maybe river is a shove? Couldn't see a weaker hand calling but straight is pretty much the best hand I can have, besides the pretty rare two combos of 78s which are more of a fold preflop
Might consider adding more flats into my Sb strategy, especially in these limits with lower pps and suited connectors.

Progressing through the stakes - NL5 to NL50

Finished 10k Hands on NL5z after todays sesh

Happy with the results obv and with my game. Redline going down as a result of folding a lot to aggression generally, seemed like the right approach to take. Cant imagine seing a lot of bluffs after checkraises on turn/river or donkpotting flops.

Also for sure not bluffing enough myself with hands I prolly should bluff with the mentality of 'Im gonna get called anyways'. Gonna need to work on that while moving up.

Definitely ran hot in a few places but also got gifted stacks left right and centre by recreationals.

Excited to play NL10z starting tomorrow.

Too nitty? Couldnt put him on a hand that bluffs which he coldcalled pre.
A3s and A6s are possible but thats only three combos given the board. 33, 66 or even QQ felt more likely.
Anways, him raising an A turn IP feels strange...maybe he spazzed out with JTo or smth, who knows

Volume has been slacking and poor, which was to be expected. Had a few things to sort out for my bachelor thesis. August/september will be pretty stressfull for me but with proper time management I should be able to handle that.

Im gonna set myself a goal of 10k hands a week, seems doable as its only 10-15 hours of chilled zoom play while having my focus on my thesis this month.

                Graph from this week

Steady downwards slope, a lot of annoying non-avoidable spots but w/e #comebackstronger
