Hello all,

TzurrR here. I'm going to lay out my goals and aspirations here in the first post and in the second I'll do more of an introduction to who I am.

6 tabling Ignition and Global reg speed tables i average 400 hands/hr. I can afford to play 3 hours/day and 5 days/week totaling 15 hours a week. I hope to be able to make ~$20k per year by 2020 to afford me some vacation money!! Here is how i'll break it down.
H=Hands

400H X 3hrs = 1200hands/day.
1200H X 5days/week = 6000H
6000H x 4weeks/month = 24000H/month
24000H x 12months = 288000H/year
288000H / 100H = 2880(100s)
2880 x 7(3.5bb@200NL) = $20,160 profit/year.

As of the 1st of May I had $938 for ~19 BI's at 50NL. Over the first ~30k hands(can't track Global) we are up $579 with the bankroll at $1517. Winning at +2.74bb/100 (6.06bb/100 adjusted) on ignition and likely much better on Global I'd estimate around +10bb/100 minimum.(we started just a week ago on Global and have been doing well).

I'm thinking about shot taking soon because the rake is horrendous at 50NL and on ignition alone ive paid $1353 already!. My stop loss would be $1000 putting us back at where we started. I think it makes sense to take aggressive shots when the rake is so high. Idk maybe i'll wait until i'm at $1800 and have a stop loss at $1500. That might be a better idea and allow for more kush, and i like kush

I stream my sessions occasionally on Twitch.tv/TzurrR so hmu with a follow so you know when i go live and come say hello! My twitter is https://twitter.com/TzvrrR.

Thanks for anyone who decides to follow along! GL at the tables!!!

For those of you who don't know me i go by the Alias TzurrR. I have another thread but decided to start a new one because the first time around i wrote in huge paragraphs at first and i think that's an instant turn off for readers.

Little bit about myself. I'm 28 years young and a Marine Corp Infantry Vet going to school full time for become a Medical Laboratory Scientist. I love learning about the functionality of the body and am always amazed at how awesome we are! I've been very competitive all my life playing almost any sport you can think of. My main sports were basketball and Tennis and though i don't get around to playing too often these days i still love them! I played Halo on Xbox obsessively for years and competed for a short time in Halo 5. I struggle with depression and anxiety attacks. I don't want to go into detail about that in the first post but if you are curious to know feel free to ask

Now for my poker background. I started playing poker back in about 2009-2-10 on facebook for play chips and instantly fell in love with the game. I did that for about 6 months before i finally made a $20 depo on full tilt poker. I had no idea what i was doing and went best probably 4 times for $20 each time. Then I went to boot camp for the Marines and by the time i came back and tried to log in to Full Tilt i got the dreaded message that i was stripped of my freedom to play poker. (Ironic as i just joined to fight for those very freedoms)

Anyhow i started playing live poker and finally picked up a poker book "No limit Hold'Em Theory and practice", by David Sklansky. I steamed through this book one night when i was on 24 hour duty and was absolutely mind blown! This same night one of my Marines bleached all of my clothes i had in the laundry by accident which included several pieces of Armani(very expensive). I was his superior and got him to pay me $500 dollars hahahaha I now had the roll i needed. From there i never really looked back. I've had my ups and downs of course but pokers only every supplied me with money. I've always been a bit of a nit with my money so losing was never gonna happen. I'd always book wins and put that aside. I started crushing 200nl Live and payed for my brand new 2018 Ford Focus for $18k! This was my first major poker purchase.

Late 2014 i sattied into a $565 500k GTD Planet Hollywood Tourney in Vegas for $80 and chopped it 4 ways as chip leader for $57k. I'd never had this kind of money before so of course i put it all in the stock market and lost it in the blink of an eye hahahaha Damn you Sun Edison you fraudulent ****s! Since then i've played here and there while attending university. Mostly tournaments on Ignition Poker Client. I'm made money but nothing amazing. I've recently started dating a beautiful Latina girl named Jazmin and therefore i havn't the time to play tourneys. Especially on the weekend! So i've decided to move over entirely to online cash.

Though i was a winner at tournaments cash is much tougher but it will provide me the freedom of playing here and there without being locked down for hours on end. So ive been running through the Upswing Poker course doing hand review. This is the first time I've REALLY studied poker and I'm seeing it in my graph. My redline is improving and i'm starting to get the hand of reading board textures and understanding how certain hands should be played on the different streets. It's all very exciting and i can't wait for what the future holds!

As stated in previous post i started at 50NL with ~19 BI and am currently at $1500 bewtween Global and Ignition at ~30k hands.(can't track GLobal)

Hope to see some of you follow along and can't wait to start crushing!!!!!

This is a post from older thread. It is from about a week ago. I'll update soon with new graphs!

Here is the graph for the first ~20k hands. (not including Global).

I have been going through the upswing poker course and am about half way through it now. I feel like my game has improved alot from a mixture of the course and also getting back into the swing of cash after a long hiatus from poker in general and cash even more so.

Here is a graph of the last 4k hands. I feel like we are playing tremendously better and our red line shows our increased understanding of board textures and where to earn a few extra BBs.

Below is results by position overall first ~20k hands.

Also i play Fortnite and I'm average. I have i think 200 wins between all game variants now. So if you're down to clown lets get it! Username: TzurrR

Good evening everyone! Played a tun of poker today and had about....hmm...ZERO fun. Today was really ruff. Seemed like i was getting checked raised every other hand both pre and post flop. Kept hitting turns that forced calls/barrels and then not getting there and of course the fun all in pre against bigger premiums. BUT after 7 hours of grinding we somehow managed to book a win. Deff one of my most trying days and to have gotten through it ahead feels amazing. We booked a perfect $50 so up 1 Buy-In and peaking since we started!

I'll be back at it tomorrow, not sure if i'm going to play during the day or just wait until night time but regardless we will be putting in more volume. I'm going to start posting weekly graphs so stand by for that come Sunday night after the grind. I'm going to bed it's 3am and i'm exhausted. Good night all and GL to those of you still at the tables.

Waiting till you hit 1800 and having a stop loss at 1500 seems more sensible Nice set up by the way. Congratz on the bink!

Yeah I've decided to do that instead of taking the shot now. There is no real hurry I've just been watching some of the 100nl games and they appear to be better than 50nl on Global. But i'll be patient haha

Short session last night. Don't feel like i'm playing particularly well and my mental game seems weaker than usual. Down about $120. I'll play a session today and then possibly some tournaments tonight to take a break from the usual cash grind. Also i'll post graph of cash tonight. How are your grinds?? Lemme know!

Played a full schedule of tourney's on Bovada and ACR today. I think in total we played for about 8 hours. I felt like i played pretty well, of course there is much less to consider when you're mostly ~20 BBs deep lol Ran pretty horrifically in high equity flips though unfortunately. Had about $350 in buyins and when it was all said and done we were up $10 lol

I took that and sat a $10 HU SnG for ****s and giggles and took that down so up a whopping $20 on the day LOL.

Here is an overall graph of 50NL first 25k hands (Bovada Only no Global)

Here is a graph Since i posted my last graph 10 days ago. (bovada only)

Here are my results by position first 25k hands (bovada only)

As you can see i need to work on my BB play. Upswing has a course for this in the advanced section. I'm going to go over that tomorrow then i'll do some BB hand review from my previous sessions. I'll be playing cash tomorrow during the day and then gotta pick up my girlfriend from the airport later.

Good night everyone and GL to everyone still on the grind!

Quick 1.5 hour session this morning. Lost AA to AKhh all in pre for 100bb but other than that we mostly held when we needed to; pretty happy with variance today overall. up Just over 3 buy-ins.

Feel like i played really solid. Ive decided to tighten my ranges for 2 reasons. One the upswing ranges seem to be particularly wide. Not to mention i know i still have many leaks and i think until i learn to fill those i should be playing at least slighty tighter ranges. Also the rake is high so i don't need to be defending as wide while in the rake trap that is 50nl.

Watched the first BB module in Upswing and will watch one or two more before my session later. Have a good one yall see you in a bit.

Got another 1.5 session in tonight. Ran pretty good all around and played solid too. Up another 3 buy-ins for a 6 buy in day. Feelsgoodman. Bankroll is just over $1800 so we are officially rolled for our 100nl. We will have a stop loss at $1500 to maintain 30 buy ins at 50NL. Not sure if i want to take that shot tomorrow or wait until the weekend. Lemme know what you guys think.

Also i'll try and start posting some hands on here to mix it up. Only half my hands are tracked so it can be difficult to find interesting spots. But i promise they are coming soon! Just need to figure out how exactly i do that with bovada hands. I've done it before it's just been awhile. GoodNight!

Also i've been trying to read 3 books every 2 months this year. Here are 2/3 of my may-june reads so far; The subtle art of not giving a f*ck by Mark Manson and Everybody Always by Boff Goff.

I'm about 3/4 of the way through this book and only have had it 3 days. I'm really enjoying the perspective he has on life and what really truly matters. He talks about identifying why we give a *** about things and then determining if that is really something worthy of giving a *** about. His humor is spot on and very close to my own and he's helping me realize more and more my biases towards things that really aren't my own but have been instilled upon me by society/media. Great read, very much reccomend!

This books is about becoming love and loving the people around you. It helped me appreciate people more and why it's important to do so. This book was essentially a bunch of short stories about experiences he had in his life and how he learned from them. It's really great because you get all of these life changing realizations without having to actually go through them yourself. I mean i think in general this is the power of books. People spend years pouring their souls into these concepts and then we get to soak it up in a matter of weeks! My one gripe about the book was alot of his arguments heavily relied on a presence of God. I didn't realize how God based this book was. Not that i don't like that per say but it's easier for me to relate and firmly agree without the unknown variable of God in the equation if that makes sense. Still a great and uplifting read for anyone searching!

Morning session went fairly well. We took a really bad line with KQo oop in a 3-bet pot against a reg. I spot i should have just folded pre and it cost me like half a buy-in but other than that i help in some key spots and ended up about $77. Not amazing but better than losing! About to fire another up in about 15 min here after a meditation sesh. GL everyone!

Another pretty good session but could be MUCH better. I keep feeling the need to triple barrell in spots where my opponents range is capped and my range is stronger. What i'm forgetting is that i'm playing 50NL and no one folds, which is why it is profitable in the first place..ugh. Anyhow results wise my night session was good and we ended up $163 and up $240 on the day.

Obv a great day and i'm happy we didn't lose but i could have in at least 3 different spots saved a 100bb stack. I'm glad i'm winning and i know i still have leaks but these punts are completely unnecessary, especially at these limits for reasons i mentioned before.

I'll be back at it tomorrow and then hanging with my girl at night so won't be able to grind when it's most juicy. The roll is at $2064 so ready to shot take 100nl but i think i'll wait until the weekend when my shot at being successful is at its peak.

Quick session this morning up $40. There were hardly any tables running on ignition and most i started. About half of those ended up being me HU against a reg which is not my cup of tea. Luckily we ran well and ended up ahead.

I've got to take my mom and a couple of her freinds up to a race start about 2 hours away. It's a race called Ragnar where they switch of running routes all through the night until the wee hours! Since i'm just dropping her off hopefully i'll be back in time to get a night sesh in since tomorrow night and likely Saturday night as well i'll be spending with my girlfriend.

Also started a new book today titled "The art of learning", by Josh Waitzkin. He is a Professional chess player and martial artist and the book talks about how he structured his study to optimize it. Only 1 chapter deep but i'm very excited! Here is the cover in case any of you are interested.

Worste session yet. Make bluffs that should have worked and didn't. People calling down in spots they should NEVER call. Then i got tilted and let that get to me and started spazzing like a ****in monkey. I'm so ***** irritated at myself from what just happened. Down $275 and feel like auto withdrawing everything because im ***** garbage.

Felt this way sooo many times before, and have followed through on the withdraw part a couple of times. Its just tilt and doubt. There are so many forms of tilt.

Cannot encourage you enough to buy the mental game of poker 1 and 2.
