Poker for USA is a volunteer group whose mission is to provide the USA with regulated interstate online poker. We began operating in 2017, but Americans have hoped for regulated interstate online poker since April 15, 2011, the day we all remember as Black Friday.

All of our lives were affected on this day. We all made sacrifices. Some of us played on unregulated sites despite facing a significant decrease in expected income. Some of us left the country or used VPNs in order to play the games that we had grown accustomed to online. Some of us were able to play live poker. Some of us decided to do something else to make a living.

We are not alone. The Poker Players Alliance was founded in 2005 and has over a million members. Their mission is to establish favorable laws that provide American poker players with a secure, safe and regulated place to play one of America’s oldest past times. With their help, online poker is legal in Delaware, New Jersey, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. https://theppa.org/

Poker will always be an American past time. In 1986, our federal courts ruled that poker is a game of skill in the federal tax refund case, Baxter v. United States. We have made it our responsibility to assist our federal government in creating legislation that is consistent with decisions made by our judiciary.

Here is a list of some of the people that both agree with our mission and have indicated that they are willing to help us. Please feel encouraged to respectfully contact and share ideas that will help our shared mission with them. You can also contact us directly by sending us a message.

We believe that the best way to provide the USA with regulated interstate online poker is with a solution that satisfies all of the interested parties. https://pokerforusa.com/legislation/

We know that Americans are owed millions of dollars from unregulated online poker websites. We are creating a form so that players will be able to file claims for unpaid player balances. We believe that all players should be able to recover all of their unpaid player balances if legislation for regulated interstate online poker passes.

God bless the United States of America. God bless poker. Good luck at the tables.

Mission Update

Poker for USA is a volunteer group. Our mission is to provide the USA with a peaceful resolution for regulated interstate online poker.

We must be successful in three phases in order to provide the USA with a peaceful resolution for regulated interstate online poker.

1. Content

Thanks to Doug Polk and Joe Ingram. They were the first people that we reached out to and they have produced a lot of content that has been supportive to our cause.

Thanks to Mikiyo Aoki. She set up pokerforusa.com. The website is currently down due to an internal issue, but it should be resolved soon. It is the platform that will allow us to effectively connect and share information with our federal government.

Thanks to all of the vloggers (Andrew Neeme, Brad Owen, The Trooper,
Jaman Burton, Johnnie Vibes, Jeff Boski, Matt Vaughan, Doge Bag, Christy B, etc.). All of you are bringing value to the game and are being helpful to our cause.

A note regarding content. We firmly believe that sensationalism and mockery is not an effective way to promote our mission. These types of content are quite popular, but Poker for USA does not support it. It goes against our peaceful nature.

2. Create a draft for interstate online poker

We are looking for people to commit to helping us draft our bill. We believe that some of the most qualified people to help us do this would be; Cate Hall, Jamie Kerstetter, Kelly Minkin, Vanessa Selbst. People involved in poker that have a background in law. This is where we currently need the most help.

The best way to provide the USA with regulated interstate online poker is with a solution that satisfies all interested parties.

Here is a list of the interested parties and what they want in a bill for regulated interstate online poker:

State Governments

Increase in tax revenues. Revenue sharing from online poker revenues, government licenses, and penalties from websites based on state population. Poker only clause for states that do not allow gambling.

Federal Government

Increase in revenues from taxes and licenses. Consistency with a decision made by the federal judiciary (Baxter v. United States).

Current US Online Poker Players

Ability to withdraw balances from websites. Uninterrupted access to online poker.

Players Owed Money From Unregulated Websites

Ability to recover balances. Access to regulated websites.

Unregulated Websites Operating With Player Funds

Ability to admit fault and pay a penalty. Ability to purchase a government license.

Unregulated Websites Operating Without Player Funds

Unregulated Websites Not Operating With Funds Owed to Players

Ability to admit fault. Ability to exchange equity or the website/company for cash for player funds and government penalty.

Websites Operating That Have Not Violated US-law

Ability to purchase a government license.

Websites Operating That Have Violated US-law

Ability to admit fault and pay a penalty. Ability to purchase a government license.

Websites Operating Currently Violating US-law

Poker for USA is a volunteer group with a mission to help provide the USA with a peaceful resolution for regulated interstate online poker.

If you believe in our mission and want to help us, please feel encouraged to spread the word. If you see an industry leader, professional poker player, content creator, media member, or anyone who loves poker, ask them if they want to help provide the USA with a peaceful resolution for regulated interstate online poker. If they say yes, ask them for their e-mail address and tell them that our website is pokerforusa.com. If they say no, thank them for their time.

If you see someone who loves poker and has a background in law, ask them if they want to help provide the USA with a peaceful resolution for regulated interstate online poker. If they say yes, tell them that we need help creating a draft of the Poker Act, ask them for their e-mail address, and tell them that our website is pokerforusa.com. If they say no, thank them for their time.

Poker for USA loves Doug Polk and we are grateful for his support for a peaceful resolution for regulated interstate online poker. Some of his conduct is detrimental to our mission. We do not support the act of denouncing religion. We do not support the More Rake is Better campaign. At this time, Poker for USA has no association with Doug. We do not support any hostile acts directed towards him. Poker for USA will always hope for peace for all of the people in the poker community.
