Any advice on studying spins? I started playing a bit for fun and never really played so many limped / shallow stack wide range spots in my life lol

Keep up the good work

Yes playing Spins, definitely means playing very wide ranges. Therfeore you need to get a very good feeling for the ranges. That's why I do a lot of hand-review in combination with flopzilla.
Just to get a feeling for it, to see what changes vs different ranges and how my range looks like in a certain situation.
But it's already very good that you can spot your weaknesses, so just focus on it and look for material for that topic and see how you can improve there.
And the second good thing is that you want to study and improve.
Additionaly I would advise any beginner that want to go beyond playing just for fun to look for coaching or any kind of poker school, because you will make quickest improvements.
So yeah wish you good luck

Very nice results dude you play th 3$ Spin and goes ?
How many tables you play at the same time ?
I liked your first post really when you post abt the advantage/disatvantege abt the different type of games, i'm in that spot where i want to start some grind challenge with 90$ that i can afford on poker but i still don't know what games to play with my 2-4 hrs time per day that i can afford on poker.

That's funny because I planned writing something about how many tables are good to play simultaneous. So I will do that right here.

Today I tried again to add the 2nd table and it is unbelievable how much my performance is suffering, while playing more than 1 table. It is very demotivating, also that I was spending a lot of the time the last week, trying to learn all the charts by heart, but it doesn't feel right, spending so much time to learn some kind of ranges, especially because poker is very adjust heavy.

That's why I decided to not force myself trying to multi-table. I will play just 1 table and study important stuff, that improves my game. The rest will come on its own, I just need to be patiened. And it is also very important that you play with a self confident mind.

In my oppinion, multi-tabling is only good if you have all your stuff down and the most decisions are already no brainer.

This is of course a tough one. I discussed about that with another player a few days ago and we both came to the conclusion that you need to play the game that is thrilling you the most and which is fitting in your lifestyle.

So it is a very depending thing and definitely can change from player to player.

But with 2-4 hrs daily you should definitely study 1h per day, so there are only 1-3h left for the grind.

This already exclude MTTs.

So there will be "6max Cash", "Spins" and "HU" left. I think those games are all great too grind also in shorter sessions. So if you don't know which game is fitting you the most just try every game for a month and see what you like the most and afterwards start your challenge and commit yourself 100% to that game.

Review:

I was taking Monday and Tuesday off to relax to regain some energy.

And like I already said, I was 2-tabling today and I am definitely not happy with my perofrmance.

That's why I will change my schedule. I will play at least 5h per work day and study 3-5h per work day until March. From there on I will increase the > 7h per workday.

Hello everybody,

Creating a new schedule tooked longer than I thought, but I think it was definitely worth doing it!
But theerfore I wasn't able to grind today, but that's fine because I increased the grinding hours in the new schedule.
