I didn't update for awhile, I had a downswing and other issues. I'm more motivated than ever and despite all players thinks poker is dead, everyday I'm excited how much money are there to make. Really there is too much money to make, what you need is volume and study, that's all. Volume was always my weak point, I tried several ways to improve it without lasting results. Now I've changed completely how my sessions are scheduled... I've have no schedule at all. My main activity is grinding and I'm playing as many hours I can in a day. I'm waking up and after an hour I'm ready at the tables, then I have luch and I play again. The fun part is, when I got tired, when I run pretty bad I just stand up and jogging or study or do something else. This allows me to focus on what truly counts (volume) while putting in quality hours. Previously I tried to schedule 6 hours of play and 2 hours of study, but I constantly failed at that.
I also want to improve my sleep schedule and I want to lose fat. I used to sleep 7 hours, now I'm getting 8+ hours and I feel tired, I think this is due to lack of fitness activity and my bad food habits. No problem, from this week I'll cut the sugars, and I'm gonna eat a lot of fruit, vegetables and meat. I also do plenty of fitness as well. Guys don't be lazy, don't get fatty... like me
And now for the PT4 trick...
Today a PT4 user forum asked for a stat, he want to display today hands in the Hero's HUD. Now this is 'impossible' because PT4 queries the DB in a special way for Hero, in order to retrieve session stats. PropokerHUD said it is possible and I don't doubt that, probably I'm lacking SQL skills... anyway I achieve that, probably using the hard way.
As you can see below, now the HUD is displaying lifetime, today and session Hero's stats
In order to to that I've used views and custom functions, so basically I modified the database. I'm not sure whether to post how it is done, since I don't want to be responsible of any database damage/loss, anyway if someone is interested, just leave a comment and I will think about that
