I want to hear from the guys playing for a living, to the guys grinding a good side income. What stakes? How many hours a week? Anyone grinding $1k plus a week? Anyone bringing in more? Bankroll strategy. Cash games or MTT&STT? Tips for someone currently playing NL50 hoping to make it to NL100/NL200? How do you pay yourselves, enjoy some of the $$$...anything to help someone out???

Listening to players who play for a living they just played until it made sense to play for a living because they were making enough coin to live on or perhaps live quite well on.

Learn how to win to start with. and keep that up.

People who put in the volume playing and studying seem to do well.

Streaming poker is another thing you could add. Some streamers are earning your 1k a week from streaming alone.

MTT's seem to be the best way but you have to put in insane volume and perhaps have a losing year along the way.

If you go the mtt route you want to have a side income to pay for all your expenses and perhaps play 3 days week. if you can do that from streaming great.

Personally I would rather have a job and just study and bink live mtts not really for the money but for the glory. I'm considering just quiting online playing and just play a few live mtts a week and the rest of time just study. I've had a lot of success live in two different countries in $100-$150 mtts and will be playing bigger mtts in the future in live environment.

Putting a % away for savings each withdrawl is a good idea. Put that savings into something perhaps bitcoin at the moment or one of the other cyptos. Perhaps stocks but lots of people are saying the sky is falling in those. If you can buy some dividend paying stocks with solid companys do that. build up a portfolio.

Real estate takes a bit of capital to get into usually and is usually negetivly geared. and your borrowing a ton of cash which atm interest rates are the lowest in ever which is a bonus for you. Purchasing your own house is a good saving plan not really a way to make money. you need mutiple houses and capital gains to make money in real estate which happens over time. Once paid off you can make money from rents which will be passive income for you.

Stay away from drugs and pit games like blackjack unless your advantage player.
