Poker and Life in Korea! Poker and Life in Korea!

hey guys whats up,

I've been meaning to make a thread on here about poker which has been a passion/addiction for what seems like most of my 20s. It was once a solid source of income for me since college years (5 years ago), but now aged 30 I think I've fallen behind somewhat although I've always been confident of my ability and wanna grind it up!

My current status is I'm working in a job in a electronical parts manufacturer(induced somewhat by black friday and somewhat by social pressure/parental pressure) but the job I work in sucks serious hog balls and pays like dog ****.
I handle all their international trade but it is the definition of a dead end job.

This thread should document my rise up the ranks and route to financial freedom. I spent most of my formative years in England UK, went to uni at UCL and have been in Korea for the last 5 years doing a bit of this and a bit of that (I'm Korean originally)

I know it is now harder to make a living in Poker than ever and this thread will hopefully serve as a source of entertainment for readers and also a way of documenting my journey towards financial freedom.

My short term goals are to achieve an annual income of 100k. My day job pays around 30k of this(horse****) and I'm hoping to make 20k online and 50k in live cash. I will invest approximately half my winnings into the stock market (Nasdaq, NYSE) and have the other half for living expenses and general degen activities. I understand this is just an initial goal and there will be many contingencies and roadblocks along the way all of which I intend to document through pics and updates

I won't include any of my stock trading progress on here, just the poker and the life.
Thanks for the reading, and let the games begin.

As a side note, this thread won't be very poker strategy intensive, It will be more about life in Korea and travelling with strong references to poker.

Feel free to ask any question and join in. Should be a fun ride.
