Not happy with today at all...

Despite the winning session I played consistantly crap all day, hence the low number of hands. Will be dropping to 2 tables tomorrow for very short sessions and lots of study. ->

Spend most of today 2 tabling to get some decent focus in.

Had a proper think/chat last night about how to improve. The step up from where I am now to the higher levels in terms of levels of thought about being unconsciously competent is a tough one. Things like knowing what I am doing with my whole range, multiple bet sizing and the appropriate sizings to an accurate level is a fair bit of intake.

So I will continue with 2 tabling in the morning/afternoon when the games aren't as soft, and spend 2-3 hours every day working on certain things I have listed, and get my volume in by 4 tabling when the games are softer.

Times like last night when I had a bit of a mental spazz about my improvement are when it's great to be part of a stable, with other players on the same path and coaches that can provide support/answers. For anyone messaging me asking me about whether CFP is worth it, ask yourself;

1. Will I actually put in the work required?
2. Is the program/coaching that I am joining to a high enough standard?

If both answers are yes (and with the other CFP programs I have seen I doubt it), but it's a no brainer.

Not a great day, wasn't thinking on my A game. Where the red line recovered is where I called and bluffed too thin. Back to 2 tabling tomorrow until I get the discipline down properly. Will be good to get a decent 9 hours sleep tonight without a puppy waking me up at 6am for the second night in a row.

whoa c'mon you will turn it around, those are the sessions that you get to learn a lot from

you don't use a stop loss? I find it really useful

Been playing this far too long to get too worried about a bad couple of days at the office. I don't use a strict stop loss, but my day was split into 3 with very long breaks (ie gym) in between. It wasn't really annoying me consciously, but it probably did hamper some creative thought (any emotional trauma in the brain hinders the creative part).

Beautiful day today, minus 5 minutes near the end (see if you can spot where). Had a very good sweat session with ishter earlier, the man smashes it.

I think for the rest of Febuary I will stick to 2-3 tabling and really get some serious thought in. Time to buy that second computer so I can study without having to close Stars (and buy a Vive).

Decent day

Today marks the end of the first month in d7's stable. Still learning new things every day, and bit by bit the study is building up my game. Still many things to work on, and a ton of improvement to go, but definately excited for the next 11 months with more hard work ahead.

This is my graph since joining, the red line shows how my game has changed.
