I have been a long time reader on this forum. I am from London, UK. My main game is PLO. I have decided to make this post due to:

A) I love the challenge

B) I have major tilt issues which causes we to play outside my bankroll. This challenge will help me stay within my limits. I am going to make sure of that.

I was going to deposit $5k on Stars and start the challenge from there. However, I deposited $130 one night to mess around with. I played a bit of $0.25/$0.50 and went on a little winning run. I ended up playing big as usual and my hands stood up for the most part. I was going to name this challenge 'From $130 to 100k' but that is not really fair. I got my money in good when playing big a couple of times and I was 75% and 70% favourite. If I lost either of those I would have lost my deposit.

Anyway, I have spun my account up (with a mix of grinding too) to $3,900. I only deposited a week ago. I am currently grinding $0.50/$1 and this is where I will stay. If my bankroll drops to $1k, I will move down. If I grind at this level to $8k, I will move up to $1/$2.

Those who know me say that I am a talented poker player. My issue has always been playing far to big. I find I can concentrate to a very high level when playing big due to fear. I cleaned up in Vegas at the Aria when playing $25/$50 PLO and when I go bust at the higher level, I almost always get it in good.

This thread will prove to myself if I have the game to beat the game properly or not.

Thanks mate. I restricted my account for now so that I can't play bigger than $0.50/$1.

I don't use Pokertracker either but might get it to experiment with at these smaller stakes to try and get used to it and will post hands on here.

that reminds me of one night where I spun up 23 bucks to 2.7k at limit holdem.

I have traditionally been a live player but have also played quite a bit online.

However, can anyone let me know which they prefer between Holdem Manager and Pokertracker. I am not up to date with this.

I want to start posting hands here and my stats so people can see how this comes along.
