Finally decided to start my own blog after reading one that inspired me to do the same. I'll try to do daily posts of hands, winnings/losses, FTs, just the daily grind experience.
About me: I'm 25 from Virginia living at home. I had a job as a driver for a medical company but since August of this summer they closed down and I am jobless. Currently trying to decide if I should get another job or pursue cards. I play about 90% online atm because the nearest casinos to me (Maryland live, Borgata) are a few hours away.
Poker status: I've always been a small winning player but never really had a big break through yet. I mainly play cash and was playing almost 20 tables of 200-400NL & got 2nd in a sunday major on lockpoker for almost $13k but never saw any of the money so a lot of time and money went wasted into that site.
I'm currently playing on Carbon and playing low stakes partially due to alot of the roll being lost on lockpoker and since my poker income is my main source of income. I dabble most everything (cash, mtts, sngs, HU hypers) as you almost have to these days as a online usa grinder. I've had a bit of small success thus far (been on site about 3 months) as far as winning around a dozen micro mtts. I typically keep my roll small though because of withdrawing for bills/expenses so it hinders me somewhat from moving up.
Goals: Just to keep a written record and hopefully see my growth as a person and player in time through this thread. When I think back to the different milestones ive hit as a poker player it always surprises me.
Random: Different tracking sites to update progress
