07-26-2017 , 06:13 AM
Yeah, just like that one haha.

Care to explain a little how and why you choose to do so?
07-26-2017 , 06:38 AM
Sometimes you just gotta soul read a brother

This sentence can be applied to pretty much any human action possible.
I could go and elaborate on a complex read. And you could say that we got many better hands in given spots. I can tell you all the reasons why this
play should be considered as bad/poor, but just a few exceptions when I
think its good.

Fact is, this was by no means a standard play. It took longer than a year
for it to occur again. In the end I trust in my game and my judgement.
Playing such a hand every once and then is the reason why poker continues
to fascinate me. Your feedback is still very welcome. One thing you have to give
me: This hand has at least some entertainment value
07-26-2017 , 10:49 AM
I remember when you first showed me these type of hands and I just assumed you were some next level whale.

I can now appreciate these plays and the underlying reasons why you make them (although i still think you're crazy at times )

Keep posting the good stuffs!

Sick hands.

Really impressive love the response your putting out too. Seem like a cool openminded dude. Kudos on that.

Hello again. Sick hands. Good luck!

Ty for the kindness.
Hey lord, tx for joining. Long time.
GL in the live circuit! I only watched the 1st vlog (lack of time)
but ill try to keep up.
07-31-2017 , 06:05 PM
haha yeah i guess i have to give you that - it does have entertainment value. I see what you're saying, although i just have to disagree with the logic. For one to have complex enough reads to make a 15% all in raise as a bluff, you'd have to have a sample size of like 10,000, not 2. That in itself would be misapplied logic because you're fully aware of how variance works and how false conclusions can be drawn.

gl though bro, you're clearly crushing the games!

Hey Oro, thanks for sharing this. Nice and inspiring to see you progress

If I had a samplesize of 10k there would be nothing charming about it
Cant argue your logic but I think you are underestimating my note-game

July recap

Its been some month again.
I started out rather strong in MTTs and everything smelled like another monthly record.
However I couldnt repeat the good results and the good game from the start of the month until some 7 days ago I totally burned out. Went monkey tilt when stil had
3MTTs worth some 200$ish - and started jamming every hand just to be done with it.
Hadnt played any MTTs since except the SM.
Switched focus to cash again - worked a lot off table. Thats the only cure whenever
I go astray. That brings me back into my zone like nothing else.
Can be very happy with the month overall (nearly 14k up) but there are some
points of emphasis Ill have to improve on.
Im kind of happy July Is over and I feel fresh and ready to attack August.
The break I took was very well timed.

Ill play for another month at stars befor I draw my own conclusions in regard to the
recent changes. Long term goal is to attack 500 because I see I can beat 200z although sample is still low - sometimes you just see your edge.
Since I am making huge blunders myself and want to improve on that - I understand
im not even close to my max potential. Thats why the only logical conclusion in terms
of ambition has to be 500z. But lets not get ahead of ourselves.
In order to do so id at least wait til I got 100k roll. Call me nit but ive experienced
what playing underrolled means for my game. (Read: I cant play it comfortably).
Also I never wanna risk having to go back to 100z again. Grinding another year or
two at 200z is for sure not the end of the world

And now in numbers:

MTTs

Cash

Cheers!

==========================================
Goals for August:

[ ] Hit the gym at least 8x
[ ] Play MTTs on sundays only
[ ] Grind at least 60k hands at 200z
[ ] Quit smoking before the month ends.

Have a go reading Allen Carr's booking on quitting smoking if you haven't already. Know a lot of people who it worked great for.

Thanks for the tip Jimbo,

I already got something that works very well for me.
(Stopped twice already after watching it).
Too bad its useful to german speaking audience only but the way this guy breaks
it down is simply amazing.

Current problem is that I feel not miserable enough when smoking.
Actyally Im enjoying it and the times I quit earlier it was because
I could not ignore certain signals any more. Waiting til my health worsens
is utterly stupid so Ill just have to face my demons very soon.
08-01-2017 , 01:30 PM
gl dude
08-01-2017 , 04:13 PM
I highlt recommend Allen Carrs Easyway to stop smoking book.
