Ok but for comparison sake I dont have to filter out the early stages.
If they uberspew vs me they uberspew vs anyone else. This gives a better
picture of how I do overall, and im not really interested in my WR depending
on stackdepth. If I am ever to put in some real work in my MTT game, thats
another story

I kept asking myself the same question after I read your comment
In the end I couldnt come up with a satisfying answer so ..
I started shooting some 500 - played two sessions now.
We ll see how it goes but first.. time for vacation!

Back in two weeks and hopefully ready to attack 500 seriously.

Mate, so impressive the journey you've gone.

May i ask, what do you use to study? Had you had a coach?

For someone playing NL50 right now, what would you tell me to focus on?
( Studywise )

Thanks so much

Most of these questions are answered in my introduction post.
As for 50nl it may be a dull and not so exciting answer but preventing
tilt and c-gaming is where the most edge is gained.
Every few 100 hands u can expect someone to spew hard, its basically
raining presents.

Thx for stopping bye!
I just checked yesterday. If i remember correctly stars was at 26$ and WM close to 30$. That does inclued the first 1k games at stars where I was
basically a fish (avg was way lower)

=========================================

On vacation still - but hard to do entirely without poker.
Played some 400 ring, 500z (hudless) and few mtts but nothing too exciting.
If something noteworthy happened than its the realization that 500 isnt
that much of a difference to 200. I am confident I can beat this game too
even with my current game. Many times ive been told that my way of playing
would not go unpunished as soon as I hit the higher limits and I believed
that. Now Im having very serious doubts
09-19-2017 , 10:26 AM
Imo you won't be punished by many, but I also suspect the very good/top 500 regs to have a significant edge vs your playstyle once they have enough history with you and begin to figure out your deviations from gto

Just caught up on this thread. Glad to see you're crushing it. GL GL @ 500.

Hello folks,
Short update time.

BE-ish or slightly losing month all together.
Yea yea, gotta keep doing these even if there is not too much to
brag about. Lost close to 6.5k playin cash but won roughly the same back with MTTs, mostly thanks to the 8k bink at the beginning of the month.
Played only 11k hands (long vacation), most of these during vacation, hudless, and on ring games. Currently experimenting with limits up to 600.

Kinde easy to lose these amounts when u get multiple -3k, -4k days. Im aware that my overall game was rather pooor but I have ran very ****ty too.
Not discouraged by any means. Still got about 10k cushion before I move down again.

The good thing about losing is, it forces me to sit down again and do some off table. Currently working out line-algorithms vs specific opponent types.
*** GTO

Trying to analyze some of the high stakes hands as well, to understand whats going on. Havent put too much work into it but so far im mostly surprised how straight forward everything looks.
Maybe I just havent come across some interesting hands, maybe ABC
still is the way to go, and just maaaybe I have no idea whats going on

Lets crush october, after all this is my month!

PS: Fell in love with Prague

Cheers!

Nice day!

You can't destroy 200z and not do at least OK at 500z.

    GL!
Thanks, it means quite something coming from you!
Still have to prove one thing or another.

Decided to grind ring this month - never done that in my pro career.
One of the main reasons is to lower varience as I get used to bigger pots.
Now Im kind of intrigued and consider never going back to zoom as
    a 100% volume game.
Have gathered a tiny sample now mixing fullring with 6m playing 3 skins.
Majority of volume is still 200nl but thats not so much a matter of personal
preference - there is simply more games running the lower u go.

Something else that works for me. Volume!!
For years ive struggled to put in high volume into my game.
I thought going ring would make it even harder. Nothing is less true in my
case. I happen to grind more hands because I cant insta quit a jesus seat
if I feel like having a break. It just doesnt feel responsible so my sessions
last longer regardless if Im up or down.

Tomorrow SM, not sure if ill fire up any other timbeys. Other than that
ill stick to the ring schedule until the end of the month.
May go to Malta 1st week november. There is a decent chance.

Month could be my best cash month ever if i can even remotely keep this up.

    Cheers!
