I figured I might make one of these as a bit of motivation and some fun.

I currently only have around $150 in my account and my goal is to have $2500 by December.

I'll be focusing on PLO8 as it is my best, and favorite, game.

As for bankroll management, I will be playing underrolled for the PLO8$10 games and after that, I'll follow a 40BI rule somewhat strictly.

I'll update with graphs every week, and might post some fun/interesting hands.

GL mate, subbed. What's Party volume like? Any mid-stakes action?

Quite solid at 10 to 25PLO8. At medium stakes it appears similar to Pokerstars' action, though rakeback obviously makes Party a much more attractive option.

Just played a massive 600BB pot... Fair to say the action is very loose.

Had a really good week, which is a pleasant surprise considering I lost Tuesday and Wednesday to, respectively, drinking and hangover.

    PROFIT: $230
    Rakeback: $20
    Bankroll: $401.92

Unfortunately I had to format my computer so lost my pokertracker data. Here's what it was:

    PROFIT: $90.

As you see on this graph, I had a sizeable almost 8BI downswing. Having reviewed that session I noticed I lost a lot of medium sized pots with marginal holdings. I think I fell into the trap of: "my opponents are really active so I should open up more" when in reality you're better off tightening up and playing fewer hands with better suits and connectivity than them. Anyway, that's what I did and won it all back, with a little juicing on top.

    Overall Profit: $320.

Will be posting the final tally for this week on Monday. Hopefully my computer will stop acting up.

    Finally have an update here.

So, I ended tilting away about $500 playing of that $800 playing 0.5/1 and 2/4. Really stupid I know but honestly I think the action at party makes this challenge very difficult regardless. Rake at the lower limits is also very big.

Anyways withdrew a bit of what I had left and punted the rest away at blackjack and PLO.

Afterwards, I decided to just totally blow off Party. Deposited $17 on Stars and over the next 24 days, these two graphs happened.

    So challenge successful I suppose.

Next goal: $5K by end of December!
