after discussing for a while with a friend of mine about a possible PLO-challenge, we decided now the terms:

- I have to turn 400$ into 4.000$ until the end of the year
- I can play as much as I want and all stakes i want to
- Rakeback is included in this bet (which is between 28-35% for me)

The first idea was to turn 500$ into 5K but after I made some calculations I decided that the risk of failure would be too big.

What i will do now: I will start grinding the micros and have look at the winrates. I haven`t played micros for a while, but let`s see how things work out. I will post stats and graphs on a regularly basis (daily) to keep myself in the right state of mind.

The biggest issue at the beginning will be to take the micros seriously. I used to play up to PLO1K this year and playing 5 Cent blinds instead of 10$ blinds could become an issue because the micros will feel like "playmoney". Tilting and blowing away BIs is something I am really afraid of. I have to focus on the bb/100 and keep in mind that this is a challenge. This is also a reason why I decided to write the progress down here. I hope this helps me not to lose focus.

There are 3 reasons why I hope to be successful:
- I want to proof that you can grind it up from the micros
- I want to proof myself what I am capable of in terms of discipline
- And of course the 3600$ I have to make during this period


But enough talking for now. I will start grinding now and keep myself updated here.

I will play on Stars and iPoker. I will play PLO2 to PLO10 to start with and have a look how it works. When I reach 500$ roll i will start taking shots a PLO25.

I reached my first "milestone". I recognized very fast that it`s not easy (at least not for me) to adjust to micros. I am a bit struggling multi-tabling obviously. Can`t focus on my HUD enough, getting into autopilot-mode very fast and loosing focus. Autopiloting isn`t a problem in general in my opinion, but I am not that good that I would say that I trust my autopilot tbh... Could end in a crash!

Time to have a break, get some coffee and refresh.

WTF! First day and already in trouble. I saw it coming. Because I got bored and Cent-blinds felt like nothing I started to try a few things and played like a donkey. I got lucky and I am running far over EV, but that`s not what I wanted. I have to work on my attitude and my discipline.

After going on tilt I went to the gym and now I feel fresh enough to start a session. I am still pissed because I went on tilt, but happy that I recognized it. When I can adjust my game now for the rest of the day, I am satisfied.

I think you may end up being surprised with the standard at micros and that generally people aren't terrible.

Thx. I am/was playing mostly plo100 to plo1000. I wouldn`t say that I am a winner. I am a rakeback-slut. I stopped? Don`t know what you mean.

I am not surprised at all with the standard. Espacially not at Stars. I don`t really like to play on stars tbh because the competition is hard. Because I know that I am not very good, I am aware of the fact that I have to be careful. I am not assuming someone to be terrible.

New day, new start. Main goal for today: No tilt!

Yesterday was ridiculous. First day of playing and after a few hours total lost in tilt. Tried to control it, but... Anyway.

Bankroll: 697 $ (+297$)
Net Won: 212$
Rakeback: 85$
EV Won: -21$

So: After this awful start I will promise myself now, that I will relax today. I don`t know why I am even getting stressed. Wake up, go for a walk, eat something and then play a bit of plo25. Can`t be that difficult...
