day 1 in the books. played 6 FRs cashed in zero. best finish was in the 70s, rough day.

played 3 freerolls this morning. finished 23rd, 126th, and ~500th. some say it's good strat to jam any 2 until you double up...gives you a stack and saves time invested. gonna play a few more today.

I think jamming any 2 is counter-productive. If you play a tight conservative game you will be able to jam later on when doubling up means more.

Freerolls on that site go off when 270 people have registered and have 30 minutes of late reg before the next one is available. Most of the times when you play any 2 you are going to lose and doubling up isn't worth much in the beginning anyways since you really need about 50,000 chips to make the final table in my experiences on that site.

Good luck in your challenge!

bankroll peaked at ~5.20 for a bit and took a dive down 1.50. tilt called off a $1 stack pre with QTs and was left with .48 . I then opened a $1 turbo and hammered the 1c slot entry until I binked with 10c left. 26 people entered the tournament...was down to 6bb 8-handed and doubled against the big stack AK > A5...ended up taking first for 10.40...after rakeback i'm left with 10.77 to use as a bankroll. pretty lucky all things considered.
