Won about the same this week that i've been. I also got a private staking deal this week. Guess posting my results in here paid off after all. May not be playing on Carbon Poker as much. Still waiting on Feb 21st check req anyways... Roll for Carbon is $1,077

Had the flu and strep throat for the past week also. Have double header basketball games this sunday. Hopefully I can handle two games. Going to be a challenge from just being so sick and inactive. Left achilles still hurts also. Also am back with my ex girlfriend again... for now. She told me she didn't want any other women messaging me. I woke up this morning at her place and she is hanging out with a guy in her living room. She can't have it both ways.

Overall

The Merge Network very slow cashouts finally got to me and I decided to take a stand and stop playing mostly. It took almost 3 months for me to get a $116 check. I have requested about $834 of my remaining roll leaving $100 behind for mtt's. In the meantime I have made $63 mostly from mtt's. The bulk of it coming from a tourney u can almost just register into the money that I will post about in my next post.

I also got a private staking deal and made $700 in one week playing 10nl and 20nl. I unfortunately had some life drama involving my ex gf yet again, along with her friends and family, and this time it directly affected my online poker game. I still have the staking deal but am recovering back lost profit. The good news is that I still have over a third of my profit left.

I have cashed in 15 out of 16 attempts now in the $11 Nightly KO on Carbon. What's my secret? I noticed one night that registration had a couple minutes left and that the tournament was less than 10 spots away from the money and that people would be busting out quickly. Whether there are 5 people left to the money or 20+ people, I have simply stalled my timebank, etc. to make sure my table was moving slower than the other tables and that I made it. Ever since, I have made sure to set my alarm to play this most nights and register with 5 mins left while the tournament is on break. You have a great chance to make $5-10 and then are freerolling for $500 or so. So far my best finish is 14th and last night I came in 29th but let myself succum to trip Q's with Q7 when it was my BB and 3 people limped in. It was a hand I should have just folded on the flop, even when I flopped trips and went on for a possible final table.

On the right side you can see my prize amount and can see at the bottom I only have one attempt where I did not make the money.

My staking deal went mostly well at the beginning. I started out upswinging just as I normally would, then had one big tilt day. I then tried out a lag variation and mostly broke even. Finally I went back to my normal style and crushed for a $750 upswing after rakeback. $700 of that I made in just 7 days of 10 and 20nl.

Unfortunately my ex gf decided to slash two of my tires back on April 15th. Then some more drama ensued including her friends and family. A week after the tire incident I started tilting. Really let the drama affect how I was playing. I didn't have the money at the time to replace the tires so after a week of not being able to get around on my own, I started stressing. Here's how things affected me in my staking deal for a good stretch since my last graph. I will post my overall graph beneath that, which includes another tilt day on top of that and if you look closely ends with a $72 upswing from micro play. So at least I was getting my play back on track.

There is one issue tho. I was assured I would get 30% rakeback by way of being moved to the highest vip level from the start, which I did. I was also supposed to get an additional 20% affiliate rakeback that paid once a month. When I got that payment, it was fairly short and they quoted me for paying less rake than what both PT4 and a site rep told me I paid. The amount of what I was shafted was about 1/3 to 1/2 of the amount I actually got. So my purple line in my graph is not accurate since I got raped for some of it.

My deal starts me at 50% profit share. Once I get back on track, I am supposed to move to 50nl. Luckily my backer knows I was a solid winner on carbon and hasn't fired me b/c of my life tilt. Hope to make the most out of this second chance.

I also tilted at fr and 6 max on carbon a couple nights ago. I ended up losing $70 at 10nl. That was all of my easy mtt profit plus $5. I have also tilted maybe another $150 to $200 on carbon since waiting for my cashouts. I have about $106 left to play with on there while waiting for my $830+ check.

I have been moved to a new site in my backing deal. Here's how things are going so far. I decided to just do 10nl to start, to regain confidence. I hope to keep my graph going up and never look back and hopefully be playing 100nl in a few months.

Just 4 days and only 1,200 hands on my new site at mostly 10nl and a nice 20nl, AA all in hand at the end. I am happy to latch onto some positive results from going back to my roots and playing the way I like to play and not play while life tilting. Nice to earn in 1,200 hands what used to take me 6 days on Carbon at the same stakes.

We'll see how long I can maintain 65BB (joking). My backer and some of his other horses say I can't maintain 20+BB. Out to prove them wrong. If you have read thru this thread you can see I had my fair share of 13-20BB weeks. My new site may very well be fishier than carbon was (I actually thought carbon was tough at 4 and 10nl). Since I have already done 20BB for 30k straight hands on carbon, I am going to set a goal to beat that rate for 50k straight hands and then hope to never look back. WML.

So when I got switched to a new network skin by my backer, I didn't really play much b/c I was waiting for my 50% rakeback to be activated. Supposedly 20% of it has been active this whole time, from a different source then expected but still active. The other 30% is supposed to come from being immediately moved to the highest vip level. This never happened. I think I was told I can just grind my way to the highest level and wait to cash my points in and earn the same amount. Hope so b/c the support reps are non existent on this new skin.

I have just been playing a small amount of micros during the time I thought I was waiting for my rb to be setup. Here is my overall. I had one day of tilt at 10nl and maybe some 20nl I believe and been recovering at as low as 2nl. I do enjoy the purple rb+profit line and can't wait to see what I can do once I put in more 20nl volume and get moved up to 50nl.

The night is far from over but I'll go ahead and continue my theme of being lazy this week. Made more in 3.7k hands than I used to on Carbon in 14k hands in a week. 36BB on the week and 28BB on my overall for 10.5k hands. Not bad eh.

Dealt a Royal Flush tonight

Making some muscle progress.

So things have overall not been going so well. My last couple of days have went well, but between then and my last update, I have crashed hard. Part of the reason was that my backer mentioned he might drop some people in our stable. The pressure was on for me to make something happen and I ended up trying too hard. I also had plenty of idiot plays and tilt and bad luck. I do best when the pressure is off and I can go at my own pace.

I had gotten my backed roll up to near my baseline ($1,197) and my backer said he wanted me to do 50nl. So I did and 50nl went bad right from the start. I also crashed at 20 and 10nl and prolly didn't do great below that either. Past few days I have been doing 11+ tables of 2 to 50nl for about 100+ hands total at a time and then taking breaks then repeating. This is allowing me to play a wide variety of opponents and only be at the tables for an orbit or two. It helps make it look like I might be a huge fish if I just shove KK-AA preflop if dealt right away and I'm also not at the tables long enough for most to get any reads on me. I can also take advantage of any opponents weakness before they can even catch on that I am.

My backer seems fairly busy lately and doesn't reply much. It is the end of the month so maybe I will find out soon whether I still have this staking deal.

I have ran really hot the past couple of days. It's depressing tho to see my EV is only $18 ha. I'm hoping that's just because of the low volume and 2 and 4nl thrown in:

My green line dropped to -$450 this week and that should put me at about -$130 with rb on this sn. Problem is, $90 of the rb is locked up in the form of a bonus I need to clear.

I actually sent my backer a lengthy statement saying I felt it was best that he drop me since I've been an overall losing cash player for 2 months now. He said to clear the bonus and then we will talk.

This isn't very positive encouragement tho b/c I am deep in makeup right now and need to win back $619 to get back to my peak and be able to claim half profit again. I have $100 of rake left to pay in order to clear it. I could potentially lose $200+ of his money trying to clear it. He invested $500 in me originally so if I lose the $78 profit that's left, I will be a losing investment. He had also actually sent me $100 extra one time to try and motivate me, so actually he has $600 invested since he wanted the $100 added to my baseline.

I have dropped down to 2 thru 10nl to see if I can manage 2-3% of the bonus a day. I have 18% left of the bonus to clear. It can actually be hard to even clear 1% of it at those limits if you don't play full time, and I am burnt out. It could take me 9 days or more and then I might not ever see a dime since I am deep in makeup. He could turn around and fire me as soon as I clear it and ask me to p2p him the poker balance.

It's possible I could have a winning 9 days and make it look good for me, but would 9 good days at 2 thru 10nl really say much for how i will do at 50nl again? If I was my backer I would part ways and ask me to reapply later.

My backer and I mutually agreed to cut the deal. I have barely been playing but when I do it's the $11 Nightly Knockout on Carbon still, where you can register at last minute and stall to the $$ and then freeroll to the final table if you double up twice and then play well. I took 7th a couple nights ago for $65 profit. On occasion I will play some 10nl.

I am planning to move to Vegas no later than the beginning of september. I was crazy enough to let my psycho ex back into my life again. We didn't see each other for 3 months and then I start getting texts from a new # and eventually found out it was her. She came to me and cried to me for an hour and confessed she never stopped loving me. Thought things would be ok with us. She even knew I was going to move to Vegas ans wanted to date me till I left. Overall we were good this time around, then a couple nights ago she flipped over something little. I messaged her right after she did to me and she didn't reply. After an hour I shut my phone off and laid down. Couldn't sleep so fired up the nightly knockout tourney. This was the night I took 7th. Turned phone back on after and had a few hate messages from her. Got her on the phone finally but she said I will never hear from her again. And I thought she was the one ignoring me lol, but I'm the bad guy! She literally must be bipolar. She went from saying I was the love of her life and wished we could move in and be a family, to saying a bunch of hurtful things like I was her worst enemy. I turned my phone off for a day after that and turned it on today and had a few more hateful messages. One saying I was being stalked. Creepy. She tried calling me twice right before I typed this. I am a very nice guy and forgiving person, but enough is enough.
