Hello again 2+2ers! Some of you might remember me from my long running thread 4+ years ago https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/1...areer-1401237/. Man brings up a lot of memories from back then.

Of course a lot has changed for me since then. The pandemic has also changed many things for everyone as well. I've been very lucky and fortunate, that I haven't been too adversely affected by the pandemic. Since I've been staying at home, I thought I would start grinding again. With the free time and me staying indoors, I started studying poker again, learning new concepts and theories, watching streams etc.

I don't have any concrete goals or anything for the long term, most likely set monthly goals to keep me motivated and focused. I'm going to be grinding on zone, Bovada's fast fold form of poker, probably mix in some normal tables as well, mostly due to volume and I'm impatient lol. I'm starting at 25NL as I'm still learning and implementing new concepts and theories, even though I'm super over rolled due to getting a huge heater in online blackjack. (Seriously, I've lost a few deposits on blackjack and will be super conservative if I do play.)

Felt really tired after work today, but forced myself to play. Lot of meh spots except for when I had 99 on the SB vs BTN raise. I 3 bet, BTN calls. Flop is QQx I think it was a rainbow flop. I cbet half pot, BTN raises?!, I tank jam thinking villain wouldn't do this with a Q, BTN calls with 66 and I hold.

Well finally booked a profit because someone spewed into me with a junk hand when I had aces. But then gave it back when I made some bad calls and getting outdrawn again.
