Longtime lurker, player, whale-truther

July 15 2019 has been a long time coming

Goal - $10k in MTTs by the end of 2019

Taking suggestions for training sites and/or HUD software (currently leaning towards hold em manager 2)

Playing Parx Big Stax 300 in three weeks !

Other info :

- Work 50 hrs a week in finance + additional time commitments so grinding will be...… a grind.

-Previously enjoyed small success online in 2010/11

-Play live cash and tournaments in the Philadelphia area frequently

-Mix between math+feel/exploitative approach live, trying to be more regimented online as I do not feel able to exploit as easily

-Favorite poker learning experience - Lost a hand to Robert Varkonyi where he raised cutoff with 20 bigs and subsequently just called my 3b from the button (to 5.5 big blinds) whilst holding ace king offsuit.

PA Sites are going to be delayed for months most likely, would be surprised if they are actually live in 2019.

Why months?

They could go live very soon, but seeing as it’s the 15th and not a single site/casino has announced even an estimate for when poker could go live makes it seem like there will be quite a long wait.

I'm hanging onto my eternal optimism that we are close to poker's long-awaited launch in PA, even though it obviously won't be today. Only time will tell gents. In the meantime, I hope you're all staying woke on the Area 51 Raid Petition. How long until we can get one going to get the government to release the REAL history on whales?

Cheers to the guy earlier in the thread that predicted the months-long wait for it to launch. I've been super busy with work lately and have only been able to put in a small amount of volume (~12k hands) at micro stakes. I've moved up from 5NL to 10NL and have a win-rate of 14.5 BB/100 or so. Nothing spectacular but I've certainly got room to grow here. I use PokerTracker 4 and it looks like I'm running significantly well and also not realizing too much fold equity, both which concern me that I'm just a fish on a heater. I'll post some graphs below.

I've got some goals over the next 20,000 hands. I'd like to maintain 15 BB/100 win rate at 10 NL which would get me $300 in profit and get my bankroll up to $600. At that point I would feel comfortable taking some shots at the 30NL stakes.

I've also got a goal to finish reading this Janda book that I've been putting off. I'll purchase PokerTracker 4 to get off the trial version and then also familiarize myself with Pio for at least 2 hours a week. I think the next 20,000 hands should take me about a month and a half so I'll set March 9 (birthday) as my deadline.

Thanks for reading, gl and hf.

You need to cold call and open limp wayyyy less. Vpip/pfr should be much closer like 24/20 not 24/14. GL bro I'm on PSPA too but got screwed over by geolocation and can't play atm.
