I know what it looks like but I'm doing this because all I do is play play money and I need something to motivate myself to put the volume in that I want. I want to play 100,000 hands this month of 1m/2m to win a total of 20b chips at Pokerstars considering that my win rate is at least 5BB/100.

A little about me: I've played nothing but play money since I was thirteen. I am what you would call a play money professional. I'm twenty-five-years old and I've dropped out of college three times, probably because I play too much play money, and I'm not going for a fourth time because three tries is enough.

My escapades in real money have all been terrible. I lost three grand in Vegas and several hundred dollars over the years online. I have no other source of income at the moment so I'll probably have to get a real job to support my play money addiction because if I don't have internet I can't play play money.

This is not a joke thread. This is serious. I want to feel what it's like to have a huge amount of play chips and have something to feel good about myself because otherwise I have nothing to show for myself for my addiction. Right now I have 9.1b chips and I worked my way up to 1m/2m all the way from 50/100. It took about two months but I'm finally there. I used a 20-buyin bankroll strategy.

I'm going to say that I started this challenge at the beginning of the month and since I want to play 100,000 hands that means I have to play 3,333 hands a day. Here's my results so far for each day:

Unfortunately, for 2/5/2017 and 2/6/2017, I didn't play 3,333 hands and so I'm going to have to increase how many hands I play per day for the rest of the month. I calculated it and it's 3,840 hands a day I have to play now instead of 3,333. That's nearly 6 hours of playing play money a day. I've already played 4700 hands today so I'm well above my quota thankfully. I'll post my results for 2/7/2017 tomorrow.

What's your Pokerstars screenname? Once in a while I'm on the play money tables just for fun, don't have any options online as an American not living in Nevada / Delaware / New Jersey. I do think you should prioritize getting a job over play money poker and for a better main reason than being able to play play money, though.
