had a decent session going was up 2k+ then I got stacked back to back by 2 regs specially one I hate on this one, annoying spot tbh didnt study enought to have a clear idea of turn play
So yeah im in the borgata , atlantic city bricked first 2 tourney after I built a good stack lost with 100 left before the money in the 3k players fields of some random 450$ tourney
Then I read on the wall that international players are subject to taxing wich I knew since I got screwed for about 400k usd in vegas this summer but for some reason it say on any amount won even satellites not the usual only after 5k+ profit wich is obv a big deal for me playing some 1k mtt side event and getting 33% taxed on any result is obv not worth it to deal with
I was pretty pissed people couldnt really confirm it I have a friend who told he only got taxed after 5k profit last year but who knows... and apparently in NJ they also had a 3% state tax that is not claimable so 33% instead of 30% and on any amount
Even if you play a 100$ for a 1.1k event they would keep 333$ and not grant you your seat wich is totally horible in my opinion
Overall im very pissed about this situation not sure why I even come to ****holes like the usa and states like NJ total trash
Played 1 session of CG of 5-10 10-25 every rules seems to be there to make players angry
At least I finish up 1.5k and hit n run after realising that playing 10-25 4k deep with only 2k behind on the trip wasnt too smart the game are looking good but the way they manage the room for seats is such a fkn mess pretty tilting
It’s clear this is just an ego blog to make up for some other frailties in your life!
‘Look at my condo’, ‘look at my new car’, ‘because I can’ - lol !!!
And the berating of bad regs - these guys pay for your materialistic purchases you clown! Not to mention that this was you one day , everyone starts somewhere in poker so show some respect and decency, and just be thankful that you’ve run like god and managed to bink some life changing money! And try using that for the greater good and become a role model within the poker community that people will actually like, respect, and want to become friends/associates with!
Congratulations on the big win, and gl in the future - but grow up!
