So yesterday was by the far the best day of poker for me so far during the CFP.
I started off with a small session in the early afternoon and i was running more or less even, slightly in profit but i was feeling good and was playing decent, till variance came in like a bitch and decided to end my day early, i hit like 5 monster hands and unfortunately i was on the losing side of them. Was down to -$110 ( $15 away from my stop loss, which is 5 buyins) So i decided to take a break and chill and carry on later.

Opened up a session in the evening, and wow, i got a massive heater a few minutes into the session, i was on the other end of variance this time and just kept getting the nuts over and over ( as you can see below my graph sky rocketed up!). After 5 hours of the session i ended up $344, which is the best session ive had so far, felt really good at the tables.

Hi! I recently started playing again myself after a 3-4 year break and used to play 50nl. Started with 40$ last month tho still grinding the roll for 25nl.

Can you tell us a little bit more about how the coaching program works exactly and why you picked that one? I might look for somthing similar once i hit 25nl or when i find one that offer staking aswell

2nd Week of October Reflect:

This week can only be summarized by one word… SHAKY

Not happy at all by my results/play this week, i seem to be all over the place right now. I am either playing super good ( + running good) or just playing horribly, ( + running rather bad too).
All in all i am happy to atleast ended up in the profit, but i would like to see a much bigger winning week next week! I need to achieve my $1k goal so i need to start building up good sessions.

Also i have not been putting as many hours as i am suppose to, so i am gonna step it up and start putting in mass grinds!

On a side note, a big update came in these last few days, unfortunately Fooz wont be my coach anymore due to unknown reasons, but that also means Gordon is gonna be my new coach and i am very much look forward to this and also means i need to man up and not be as much lazy anymore or i will get punished hard

Mid Month October Update:

What can i say? Running rather bad to be honest… and quite a few miss plays and small tilts and this month has turned upside down pretty quickly.. Have been having rough sessions these past 4 days where i have hit stop losses one after the other. Although i am still feeling positive and understand these things can happen, altho majority of it can be reduced if i just stuck to the game plan.



Anyways My progress so far :

October Poker Goals:
Make $1k in profit and build the bankroll to $2k [ -25% done ]
Be shot taking 50nl. [ Probs wont happen]
Play atleast 150 hours. [ Currently at 68 hours in 15 days, Pace is 75 hours, so a bit behind ]
Run like god. (fingers crossed ) [ Unfortunately i Jinxed myself ]

3rd Week of October Reflect:



What can i say ? Just horrible, horrible, horrible week! …. Hit stop losses 4 days in a row ( on which two of the days was double stop losses).

Down almost 20 buy ins this week, but thats poker and im still learning, only thing is due to stop losses etc i have not been putting in many hands.

So i need to up my volume a lot for the next coming weeks.

I need to play around 10k hands a day so i shall start increasing tables and focus on simple no bull**** strategy .

Not much to update really, being putting many hours and hands these past few days and im having mixed results, kinda breakeven at the moment, but atleast im getting a lot of rake in



Also i am feeling extremely extremely tired recently…. Having like no time to pretty much do anything work/poker 24/7 and hardly getting any sleep due to it :/ I hope i can finish my job soon ( probs in 1 month) and i will put in 100% focus onto poker. I will be much healthier that way too tbh.

4th Week of October Reflect:

So this week i upped the volume, in terms of hours and hands played. Played about 80k hands and about 6 hours per day. Pretty breakeven week tbh… lost quite a bit at the tables but managed to come out in profits in terms of rakeback etc. So not too unhappy but could be much better IMO.

Outside of poker i am feeling pretty weird lately still… i did mention it on my previous post but i guess ill say it again I’ve been feeling very very tired lately ( but its a weird tired like i feel weak and stuff.. ) I had a lot of stuff to do today and since i needed a mental +physical break i took a day off from poker today. Hopefully to refresh, but it hasnt really worked, if by tomorrow or the next few days i feel the same i might go to a doctors or something to check if i have anything wrong .



Anyways, back to the grind tomorrow and looking forward to hopefully a decent week for once!

a small update, not much really to talk about… but i guess the past few days i havent been putting that many hands, was playing on ipoker only for a few weeks… to build up my roll from there but about 4-5 days ago the software was just going horribly… the games were crashing and constantly offline. So i decided to just move out of there and go to stars/tilt for now..

Going pretty good since then, playerpool is much weaker imo and yeah

Hey guys whats up..

Havent updated in a while i am sorry!…. Ive been playing 50nl for now in November and it seems to be going okay

Sorry for not keeping up to date either as i bought myself a new pc, but i havent been able to play as much or do anything really.. As i have been having slight issues with the stability of the CPU etc. Been stress testing a lot and trying to fix it for the past few days.

An IT friend of mine is gonna come to mine hopefully tomorrow and have a proper look at it and think should be fine after his done with it



Apart from that nothing much to update really… Moved from Ipoker to Stars/Tilt about 2 weeks ago now and its probably the best thing ive done so far Having a decent run atm..

quick update… currently playing 25nl again… my shot take at 50nl came to an end after running quite badly … but not to worry… i will come back and be even stronger

Also i have still been having issues with my new pc… but i think we found out the problem of it, i believe it is one of the RAM sticks that might be faulty.. so gonna have to send it back and get a new one… for now i shall stick to my old pc :/ which is kinda sucky lol.

Yo guys!, So my weekend is over…



and it didn’t really go so well i guess.. took another shot at 50nl and failed… probably not a good idea to be playing at higher limits/shot taking when i am feeling sick… was sick since thursday till today really.. .which sucks :/…



But no problem, this wont let me down and just make me stronger! I have A LOT To improve still which i am happy… my standard lines is somewhat already decent ( as i do beat 25nl quite well i think). Just need to up everything else.

So this week has been not so great i guess.. pretty much breakeven/losing… had a terrible day yesterday of 10 buy ins loss… but a good one today of 10 buy ins win… lol so cant complain that much.

Overall not so happy about my progress this week/month… I haven’t been putting that much work on my side to be completely honest, and it sucks… I am finding it way way harder than i thought of juggling both poker + a full time work. I am struggling quite a lot, I can’t seem to find any free time to work on my game and do certain homework cause of it, And also the lack of sleep that i am getting is getting to me, as i am feeling extremely tired every single minute of the day.. which to be honest reflects to my game. Apart from this i am also having no free time to have a proper social life… which i believe is very important to have a balance life.. if not your just stuck working 24/7 and be unhappy .. even tho i enjoy playing poker, i wish i had more time to go out with friends more often and actually be able to have some time to go to the gym etc.

Luckily i am gonna be finishing my work very soon, by January 2015 i shall leave, and thus i will be fully able to dedicate many more hours into poker and also have my own free time to do hobbies/going out etc. I am very looking forward for this and to 2015

Yo guys,

So November 14 has come to an end… and what can i say ? It hasnt gone too well.. ( rather **** mate!)

I started the month with a heater… running up like 20-30 buy ins at 25nl.. in just a few days, so i took my shot at 50nl… was alright at the start went breakeven for a few days.. and then i just kept on losing… basically went on a downswing.. and been either break/even or hitting stop losses for majority of the month..

At the end of it all i did put in 150k hands… so with rakeback etc… i’ve ended up almost breakeven i think. But i havent cashed in the points yet so i dont know exactly the numbers.



Anywhoo



Bankroll update = $930 with cashing in points etc it should be at around $1400 – $1500

So the first week of November is over and it has been an alright week i guess….

Started this month on just 4 tabling zoom to get my game going and learning new ranges etc… and its going decent. The first 2 days was stop losses unfortunately but i was playing decent and feeling good.. After that the following days have been going good, being constantly going up since and im more or less knowing what ranges to use etc and feeling more comfortable on what lines to take.

Apart from that , could finally go out this Friday night, as my birthday is on the 8th of December ( tomorrow, Monday). In Gibraltar the only night people go out is on the Friday, so decided to take a break from poker and just go out chill with my friends… which was much needed got super drunk waay too early ( such a lightweight) but thats okay



Anyways thats enough from me..

now that the 2nd week of the month is over time to reflect on it! ( sorry for the delay.. i was sick past 3 days ).

Started the first 2 days ( mon/tues) really really well had solid sessions and was starting to look like a solid week, reached a decent bankroll to try 50nl and i gave it a 3 buy in shot.. but that failed And since then I’ve hit stop losses every single day @25nl. and brutal stop losses too ( every session was 1 hour or less) lol. really bad, Feeling extremely frustrated but i am not gonna give up. I think i just need a break or something, cause its 5 stop losses in a row.
