Hello everyone,

Scoom here, 22 year old from Gibraltar.

A quick background information of myself, I started playing poker back in 2010/2011 where i was somewhat quite successful winning at 50-100nl etc, but around mid-2011 i quit playing and since then i have been trying to get back into playing seriously again. Unfortunately due to situations in life i have never been able to stay on track.

But here i am today, and I am not stopping now. I love playing poker and ever since i started playing i knew this is what i wanted to do and be successful at. I do not want to live a normal life and work 9-5 everyday on a job i dislike.

I have joined the coaching for profits program for BPC. This is my time now, I have to give it my all.

You will catch all my updates here.

I also have a youtube channel where i will post Videos/Vlogs of my progress too.

Time for an update!

So the last few days i have been preparing and doing a lot of stuff before i start this program. I am currently working full time but i am working around how i can put in as many hours as possible into poker without tiring myself out. ( I do not want to feel tired everyday due to the insane grind.)

Weekly Goals:

Start eating a lot healthier. Cut down on a lot of **** food and sugars.
Go to the gym atleast 5 times a week.
Get atleast 7/8 hours a night sleep.

Poker Goals:

Turn a bankroll of $716 to $5000 by the end of 2014.
Be playing 100nl at the start of 2015.
Make $75k profit in 2015.
Play atleast one UKIPT Tournament in 2015.

For now i think i will start updating this blog everyday with my progress/results. And then do one big blog review of how my week went.

Also expect some videos/vlogs on my youtube channel where i will talk about poker or post any cool/real life stuff .

I started the program officially on the 18th. Started with 10nl and i will go up depending what my coach tells me to move up!

These are my last 3 days results

Bankroll: $805

Off to a good start!

Stay tuned!

Sup guys!

So the last three days have gone not so great. I’ve had 2/3 days of stop losses and today being one of them which went horribly wrong and ended up -4 buy ins unfortunately. I was playing decent but i run into really bad luck in about 4-5 hands in a row of AA beat preflop all ins, KK vs AA, QQ vs AA, AK vs QQ etc .

But hey enough complaining .

Good news is that i have now have an official coach assigned to me, Mr Mike “Fooz” Gano, and i am extremely looking forward to working with him as i have only heard good things!

Will have my session with him tomorrow and i can’t wait to start!

From now on I shall update my results weekly. But ill keep posting my progress and any interesting hands/situations etc.

Also i will upload a vlog tomorrow, which will be pretty much a basic introduction of myself and how i got into poker + coaching for profits.

Peace out for now !

Coaching will make a big difference, especially as you've had a little time out of the game.

Hey y’all

Week Reflect:

Weekly Goals:

Start eating a lot healthier. Cut down on a lot of **** food and sugars. [Failed]
Go to the gym atleast 5 times a week. [Failed] (Injured my shoulder on monday so had to take days off)
Get atleast 7/8 hours a night sleep. [Failed]

So i pretty much failed all my weekly goals to start being a bit more healthier etc. Although i look physically fit i don’t maintain myself properly and that does really take a toll to your mind, pretty much felt a bit slugish and tired this week due to pretty much not getting enough sleep and excersize.

This week i managed to hit bankroll of $750 so i could move up to 25nl and take a 5 buy in shot, been going rather breakeven so far, But i feel comfortable.

Got my first coaching session with Fooz yesterday and he instantly managed to point out a few leaks, things to improve and homework to do that will help my game now and in higher stakes. Looking forward to our next session! I have tons more to learn from him and i am very happy.

Played for an hour session today but had quite a headache so decided to take a break and put in more hours tomorrow.

These are the results of my week so far,

Bankroll Update: $740

So September has come to an end and it has been quite an interesting month! I shall post a video about my results and thoughts on how it went tomorrow .For now i shall write down what my plans and goals are for October.

October Poker Goals:
Make $1k in profit and build the bankroll to $2k
Be shot taking 50nl.
Play atleast 150 hours.
Run like god. (fingers crossed )

Also since i am currently working a full time job and I have hardly had anytime for social stuff etc, I’ve literally only gone out like once the past 3 weeks. So this is something i want to improve on October and atleast go out at nights or do some sort of outside world activity haha I can maybe cut down one day off my schedule and play more hours on saturdays/sundays

On Tuesday i went to play paintball for the first time with my work mates ( the only time I’ve done somthing these weeks ) and it was a lot of fun! The actual organisers had even asked me if i wanted to join their team for a league that is coming out soon. Unfortunately i do not have any free time so its something i had to reject , Maybe in the future!

Peace out!

1st Week of October Reflect:

So this week has been interesting, I’ve had both my biggest win day and also my biggest loss. ( $+265/ $-125 respectively). All in all it has been a decent week, I have improved a lot on my table selection . I’ve added a little bit more breaks into my session so i do not fall in to these “auto-pilot” mentality, which tends to be my biggest weakness at the moment. I tend to have 2-3 really good days and then feel overconfident at my game and make stupid hero calls or hero plays against regulars that i should never have been involved in the first place. STOP DOING REG BATTLES SCOOM!

Outside of poker, this week has been rather weird… I have been feeling rather sleepy each day, even tho i have been getting in 7-8 hours sleep each night. I tend to be tired around 15:00-18:00, I don’t know why around this time but i open to play a session and i just feel dizzy, normally take a nap and carry on later, But its something i need to find out the problem, I guess i need to start actually going to the gym already :P

Anywhoo

Here are my results of this week

Bankroll @ $1072

I get tired during the day, but I'm pretty sure it's just because I'm bored and my body is preparing for poker at night.
