quick update on weight loss goal.

I have been eating relatively healthy, but i could be doing a lot better. Also my exercise grind could be a lot better also.

So i have just joined a gym to give me the extra motivation i need to get this going properly. I feel like once i have paid for something like a gym i will make sure i use it to get maximum results and it makes me not want to eat that one biscuit with a cup of tea or that slice of toast with butter because its handy.

excited to get going now

Overall it seems to be the case that i am running pretty bad (i hope this is the case) Happy to have a solid ev so once i keep it up it will turn around.

Constantly putting the work in , getting the 4 group sessions in per week and getting in some extra study time by myself and im feeling good about it ,constantly learning.

i also noticed i tend to autopilot when playing 9-12 tables so i chopped some off and keep it at 8 now and i can feel the extra focus in every spot getting extra attention than before.

So im gonna set up a few goals for july,my past one was 800 games so im going to knock it down to 600 as im playing less tables.

i also started meditation and find it very beneficial, i was using free content on youtube and loved it.i would fall asleep to it and then have a 10 minute session when i wake up and 10 minute session before grind. I got elliot roe primed mind app yesterday for $10 for the month so il see if its worth it and if so il keep using it,i find it handy its in an app and has the diffrent categorys right infront of you.

2019 profit goal - $5k - current profit -$444

Why don't you improve your life by skipping the 2 goals in between, squeeze in 400 more games and review them too?

Keep at it. A little adversity only makes you stronger. You set some goals, now go get them!

You're down ~200 ABIs since 6/1 with a 9 evbb/100, I would think that you need less review and more playing since the implication is that you're playing very well but running poorly. Obviously you want to stay on top of your game, but it's possible that you're hurting your bottom line by trying to force too much study and review.

Also with regards to losing weight, "eating healthy" is kind of a misnomer. When you're looking to lose weight you are really only interested in calorie in/calorie out (CICO). There are plenty of healthy foods (and foods that seem like they should be healthy) that are high in calories, causing you to maintain or even gain weight. For example: almonds. A very healthy food that has about 150 calories in a handful. That's about 10% of your daily caloric intake if you're looking to lose weight. Research what your TDEE is (or consult with your doctor), get a little food scale, and weigh and track EVERYTHING you put into your body.

Yes that seems to be the problem mate, plan going forward from now is to pump in much more volume whilst creating a nice study/play balance.

i got the my fitness pal app some time ago but never tracked calories, maybe its something i should experiment with.

thanks for the input mate

Its been a crazy last 3-4 weeks.

We moved into a stunning new home and i had to take the time off to get everything sorted and get settled in nicely to the new place.

(even have my own office, nice upgrade from the bedroom )

anyway,im back on the horse now about a week and ready to crush and put in some extra volume and pull my self out of this downswing!

thanks for reading glgl

Been trying some new things out this month, i was playing 12 tables ,and missing way to many spots. my coach has advised me to drop it down to 6 tables and see if there is a difference. After checking loads of hand historys,it is a big difference compared to when i played 12 i picked off all the spots i would of previously missed. so now im going to go to 8 tables and see if i miss the spots i would of at 12. it felt great tbh, there was no autopilot feel to the grind as such.

graph below for this month so far.

im gonna post my most played game types below.

1- $4.50 OD
2-$2.50 180 man
3-$5 90 man
4-all games inc mtts since february 2019

is this sample too small to say if its variance or not for loosing in the $2.5 and $4 but winning in the $5?
