Fooled ya!
Hi there, I'm Jonathan, 19 years old from Israel, and this is my
Story...
I started playing poker on FB in Zynga poker around the end of 2009. All of my friends, and we had a sort of a 'poker boom' in our town.I Played 10NIS homegames sitngos with my friends, until one of my best friends decided to deposit 50$ on FTP. I started playing freerolls there, my friend sent me 10$ aswell, and from there I never looked back, played 45,90 and mtts, and won on my peak about 6k. From there I started to get bored, and played 6max and hu hyper way above my roll, in 200-1000$ stakes, before cashing most of my roll that was left.(btw my I was FlamingHaze on FTP)
After black friday I deposited on several different sites, and busted them all cause of bad br managment.

I chose to play HU Hypers since I stayed with hunger for these games since I played some highstakes of them at ftp, and think that they are very soft.
After depositing 105$ on stars, I started playing at the 3.5s$ stakes, a bit over 300 games already of being b/e, and now I'm starting to show some profit.
Rules for my challenge:
-Br managment will be 50/35, meaning moving up when I got 50 buyins of the next level, and moving down to the lower stake when I'm down to 35 buyins of the current level.
-Locking the max buyin on stars to my current level. This is cause of my tilt issues that has caused me to move up out of my br when after losing several buyins in a row.
-Stop loss of straight 5 buyins, followed by a 30 minutes break. Again, the reason for this is my tilt issues and for playing bad.
Challenges (Short terms):
[]Average ROI of 3% and above
[]Move up to the 7s as fast as possible
[]Clear my deposit bonus of 105$
Long term:
[]Get breakeven with my expenses on poker 620$ total, which was spent on depositing on different sites and buying poker softwares etc.
[]Getting to the higher stakes eventually, 60s and above.
[]Average ROI above 3%

I don't have volume goals since I don't know how much I will be able to play.
I'm coming back home every second/third weekend, so I be able to post graphs and hands etc only when I'm home. When I'm not home(most of the time), I will play on my iPhone(via pokerstars up), and will post daily basis.
My screen name is JonBeeryon, and I'd be glad if you could post my graph in sharkscope whenever you can. Also, feel free to add my in skype, chat(not only poker), review hands and sweat when I'm home(I'm jjsalton on skype)

Current BR: 122.60$ (already unlocked 1/10 of my bonus,10.5$)
GL to me I guess

gl!

Spoiler:

I'm at 3.50s as well and am trying to work through tilt issues. It's pretty hard, especially when you run below ev. I'm trying to make a concious effort to not worry about things I can't control (card distribution, getting sucked out on) and it seems to be working so far. As long as you can get your ev +ve then good on you.
I think 50/35 is good brm for tilting players. I've tried Kelly and it's fairly aggressive so you can lose a big portion of your bankroll by moving up too quick (and not moving down when you're supposed too). At least 50/35 gives you a set br to move up/down at.

Don't forget to mark hands an post them.

gl again

I did some calculations, and since I play only one table and my avg game lengt is 3 min, that means ~20 games per hour, which means a bit over 7 hours per day. That's impossible for me, but I'll try to play atleast 3 hours er day :x

A great day for me! Won a total of 12 buyins, and achieved [x] 5% ROI goal aswell. Didn't think I'd manage to complete it that fast :S ran ok today, altought I felt of playing really well, and a big part of it was me soulreading my opponents hands and ranges. My post flop game got so much better, sorry that I can't upload any handhistories since I'm not at home.
New goal, again ROI wise: [] 7% ROI and above in the 3.5s

Total games played:448
Profit:80.9+10.5(bonus)=91.4$
Average ROI:5%
BR currently stands at:200.20$

Good night everyone!

Thanks.
Stop looking at ev line until the day/week ends, it can be tilting :x
Strange that I haven't seen you yet & the tables, maybe we're playing on different hours?

First losing day from the start of this thread, Meh what can I say..
Played some mtts up to 3.3$, And only mincashed in one, it's -ev for though the competition there is really soft.. Ran bad in the hypers and combined with my C game things didn't go to well overall.
The only plus from today is that I played around 4 hours,100 games which i'm happy with.
Bought iScope app, and it's really cool, so now I can ipload some graphs even if I'm not home!
Here's my overall stats:

It's quite funny how in the start you can see that i've gotten down 20 buyins, and I was so stressed since I had only 45$ remaining in my acc, and today I had almost the same downswing and it didn't bother me. Hurray Br managment!
BR stands at: 161.04$
