This thread was created for me to track my personal progress through small stakes SNG and MTT play at a very small US facing site. I will be playing anything that runs from $1 to $10. A majority of my play will be NLHE with PLO8 and PLO games sprinkled in when they run.

I currently live in the northern US with my GF, and our son who is almost two years old. I run a program at a local call center for a very large software company everyone has heard of. The job is legit, and it takes care of us financially, but any additional income is welcome. I'm about to approach 200 pounds for the first time in my life, and it's time to start treating my body better. I will also be creating small health goals to keep my body and mind strong.

I have played poker on and off for 10+ years. I have issues with tilt, chasing loses and playing outside of my BR. My game is very ABC, and I don't study/observe enough to improve past medicore/break even. This thread was designed to help curb these issues, and allow me to break into the next tier of my poker playing.

I will be starting with a $25 BR, and playing an ABI of $1.25 until I reach $50. At that time I will increase to a $2.50 ABI, and stay as close to 20 BI's as possible.

First two days of the grind went very well. BR is almost tripled, and I have been much more aggressive and aware of my table surroundings. I'll be looking to ship a small piece of this my BR to WPN which will allow me to get more games in. Lets hope the run good continues tonight!!

The traffic on the site I'm on will make it impossible to get in 300 games this month. I can grind up to 6 tables somewhat effectively, but I find myself having 2 up on average. Concentration on tables has helped me increase BR faster than anticipated, but I have only played 10% (32 total games) of my goal for July. I also lost $5 betting on MLB #degen4life. Finally, I need to get some money over to WPN to increase game selection.

7/12/2015 will go down as "No Variance Sunday". I felt like I won every game I played, and better yet I'm thinking more in situations which has really improved my morale. I'll post some graphs and hands later this week. Taking today and tomorrow off to spend with GF and my son.

So far I have played 9 PLO8 games for $29 in BI's and I have so far cashed for $75.55. Giving me a profit of $46.55. ~ 160% ROI

I have played 47 NLHE games with $139.88 in BI's. My total cashes are $260.75 showing an overall profit of $120.87. ~86% ROI

The smaller games have proven to still be extremely soft. A nitty ABC game with some thinking/playing opponents will garner a profit IMO. My goal this week is to satty into the $109 10k gtd on sunday.

Last night my GF's best friend came over and watched our son. We went to the horse track and watched some ponies. She hit a bet and was happy, we lost overall, but it was good to get out of the house and enjoy time together. I broke on the candy and soda goals which is obv total lack of self control.

Poker Updates - Cashed out $100 back to credit card. They took a $9 fee to process, so I technically received $91. I traded $20 for $17 BCP, and I lost that money already.

I'll do some research and figure out how to post a graph. Results have been extremely positive and I still have a healthy bankroll after cashing out the $100.

Busted my tops roll playing .25/.50 PLO. -$45 Very upset with myself looking at this statement. I was drinking and trying to pass time while watching a baseball game. Even more upset after looking at this last statement. I could play a SNG and mostly likely cash even while inebriated, but instead I sit down at a game I don't understand. This was only a minor blow financially, but more devastating from a mental game aspect. Hopefully this is me getting closer to understanding the psychology of the game and when not to play. Still much to learn, but closer than ever before.

Still $120 on BCP after cashing out $340 this weekend and $560 overall. I'll be opening up 6-10 games tonight and I'm hoping to keep the success going. My ROI is 104% after 162 games, and I think it's achievable for the next 162.
