About me: I'm from Perú, i'm 25 years old i have a bachellor's degree in business with finance and marketing mentions. currently ceo & founder of an startup in the developing stage being incubated by the #1 university of Peru, i also do some really small advising work to small business (in other countries this sounds like a lot of money but here it doesn't)
A lil more, i have a 4years stable relationship ill hope i will get marry soon, we have 3 dogs (pug, english bulldog, and a mix) and a cat(mix).
Old poker grind story: If you can see my 2+2 acc is kind of old and with almost no post, thats because i spended all my poker-life playing pre-blackfriday and posting on pokerstrategy.com, i was living from poker before i quit after blackfriday since i couldn't beat the game anymore, i went from 4bb/100 over 400k hands in NL50 on fulltilt to be a breakeven rb-pro, well all the american recreational were gone, and everything became tough and i tilted way too much, so i decided to stop playing and just finish college.
Fast forward to today, i keep in touch with some poker friends, right now my startup is in a place that i have a lot of free time, so one told me about BPC CFP program, and that was like a good idea to start playing again and to beat my awful mental game.
So here i'm, i played almost all this month before joining the micro program yesterday, so right now the goal is to learn everything and start from the really nano-limits.
my rig ASUS G551JW core i7 16gbram
really good gaming notebook, is good enough to play poker, just lacking an SSD, i will upgrade it when ill get to NL50.
1 24" monitor.
gaming asus rog mouse
steelpad qck pad
sennheiser hd558
software i will be using while playing holdem manager like everybody
spotify
Stack and tile, right now i believe is the best tool to multilobby, i can play on every network and have all the tables tiled, pop up when action, and use same hotkeys on every lobby.
The challenge
10k EUR in 4 months or less.
Starting stake:NL5/10 since i have to make adjustments in my game, ill play some hands on NL5 before moving back to NL10
Can some mod delete this bpc advertisement thread? and also bann presentmoment account? It's clearly created for one reason.
don't know why but threads like tilt the hell out of me
lol, sure clearly created for 1 reason document my way up from micros and get a 10k bankroll/profit in 4 months or less, and also because pokerstrategy spanish forum that i used to post around is kind of dead, so the logical step was to migrate to 2+2.

So, no forum rule broken, and my account is 5 years older than yours, so i don't see it was created for 1 reason.

good luck sir, if you need help with StackAndTile, post in the help thread in the Commercial Software forum, or on the forums on the SaT website
I hate microgaming, lost 6 buyins in less than 1k hands, cbet, x/f turn and if i hit big, they hit better besides that the software sucks, so i decided to withdraw my remaining funds from MPN and keep playing on stars/party, ill give ftp a try tomorrow.
I rate my mental game as a 7/10 i only played 1 session a little tired, didnt tilt at all, had to stop 1 sessión because of stoploss

another aggro recreational, on turn i did a CiB looking for a push from villain with a holding like his, river is awful i think i could fold there, not sure.
There are peculiar lines that i didnt felt comfortable playing but hey let's see how its going, on these 10k hands i been playing on average on 3-5 rooms at the same time.
This has been -EV becouse it was hard to get use to this many softwares, also in microstakes It is not necessary to multilobby but i been doing this in order to be ready when i start climbing stakes, i rather lose money right now getting the setup right in NL10 than later on NL50 and loose $50 pots on a missclick or setting the right table size, etc.
You say you're starting at NL5 to make some adjustments in your game etc but surely multi siting and as a result probably playing a lot of tables are going to make those adjustments happen very slowly and you'll still likely be making a lot of mistakes without realising (auto piloting).
Maybe just two table 5/10nl zoom on stars and see how you do, start posting hands etc
Seems like a much better approach than multi siting the micros when you've just got back into poker.
I started at NL10 at first, the last 2k where on NL5, yep i have been making mistakes by multilobbing and having to be reading charts and stuff , but like i said i wanna get used to that and been paying the price for that. i think by now i kind of got it, but yeah i think i could play 6 normal tables for now untill i know the charts by heart, lets see what my next DB review says.
Yeah that's not a bad approach. When I used to grind cash my method was to play and small amount of tables and when I started feeling comfortable I'd add another and see how that went rather than just chucking myself in the deep end and hoping I'd eventually adjust.
So its been a while since i post, my startup took a lot of time this past days since we were about to pitch to a goverment grant and we think we got it .
Poker related i have only played 3k hands, right now NL5 is about 10k hands winings 11bb/100 after my next DB review i think ill go back to NL10.
