EP is too nit. Lets say you open pretty tight, would still be 8%, 88+, ATs+, KTs+, QJs, AJo+
MP is simply ubernit, i guess an ok range would be like 55+, A5s+, KTs+, QTs+, JTs, ATo+, KTo+, QTo+, JTo; this is is still pretty tigh imo at 18% for MP, but probably better for you to play a little tighter atm.
Also you don't seem to 3bet enough, it is not a big sample size, but still. You want to find some ranges for value 3betting and bluffing, just getting the general idea here, i am sure there is plenty of stuff on 2+2.
Don't that book of yours also have a 3betting ranges?

I know from the pic it doesnt seem it but I am actually sticking as religiously as possible to the advised opening ranges of the book 13%, I was a bit card dead last night but will stick at it and see where we go

It also has 3 betting ranges yeah depending on my position in relation to the opener/re raiser, I must admit it does seem tight in relation to how much 3 betting goes on but I think 3 betting is a bit of a trendy thing to do at the moment and I've definitely noticed a lot of players that, once called don't really know where to go next with their play

Hey again,

AKs you flat call on the button but with 99 you only min-raise open on the button. Then with KQo in the big blind you re-raise to a min-raise from the small blind (to re-steal?). Wouldn't it be better to flat call the KQo in position and defend rather than 3bet and re-raise with AKs in position ?

Like to know your thought process of the hands ? Love the pictures btw.

Hi mate,

With the AKs I'm against an utg open and the book I've been referencing and working from regarding ranges advises to flat there, I suppose in some part for safety but also to disguise my hand a little. With the 99 I'm opening and because I open so many diff hands there I don't want to change my sizing based on hand strength. Hope that's right and give me more chance of stealing blinds with weaker hands and disguising stronger opening hands.

With the KQ hand I didn't have many hands at all on v but felt that he was quite passive/tight and just taking the opportunity to steal. I felt like the KQ was strong enough to 3 bet there (possibly light) and see what the flop brought.
When he checked the turn I felt like he was either drawing/second pair or top pair weak kicker, he called really quickly to my turn bet which at the time was worrying but a shove from him would have been worse

Would love to hear what you think of my thought process and also the way the book advises opening/calling in those situations.

Also, which bit of the Northwest are you from, always good to meet new people
