Have never read no BS 6-max, but if it is teaching you default line for every spot then it is probably now what you need now.
Get down basic preflop ranges, then try to read boards and assign ranges to villains and think how you fare vs those ranges. Once you start to get a hang of it, start to think what your range looks like to villains. I know it is a lot to digest, but this will be more useful imo.

Hey man, GL.

I admire your discipline to stick to 2NL and post hand histories. I usually jump up in stakes, which is really bad. I'm working on it though.

Listen to your first instinct. If it says fold, fold. Trust yourself!

will the theory etc be relevant at these levels

QQ is a 3bet - get it in preflop, especially vs this villain, even if it only 28 hands and generally vs 2NL villains imo, unless they are massive nits over large sample.
KK hands is whatever, i didn't even look at the result, because it doesn't matter.
KQ is meh, i think just calling and raising turn is both fine options, as played just got unlucky.
If you want, post some of your stats, maybe there is some obvious leaks other users here can point out to you.

Had to register to help a fellow nothern brit.

I've read some of that book, most of it is pretty pants tbh. Just follow some of the BPC threads to see how *some* of their students do while claiming to follow that book religiously.

I would call 13 vpip on the low side for even full ring never mind 6max. The book can not be teaching you to play a vpip of 13.

At 2NL , just play basic solid ABC poker. Raise premiums , bet for value on all streets. If raised , they probably have it so don't go all the way with TPTK (As seen in one of your hands (I think)). Don't 3bet light from anywhere, don't donk shove bluff rivers or bluff anywhere except c-bets and semi-bluff with strong drawing hands. I would only probably get it all in pre with AA-KK , although probably would with AKs at time.

Lastly , I'd probably disregard all I've said and nice to see an older Uk player, Although i'm not quite as old as you
