To my past: I started to play poker in 2008/2009. 2008 I started with depositing 50-100 Euros to Pokerstars and gambling on some CG tables ...When i finally broked my money like few times, i studied a bit, read the ABC SS strategies and got back to CG again ...depositing my whole salary (400Euro... i was student and just worked for 10h a week) ...and joined with 20bb stack NL100 6max tables and my strategy was:

"double up these 20$ on NL100, move up to NL200 with these 40$... get up to 120$ there, move up to NL600 and double the 120$ there and finally take the shot on NL1000 with 200$... if i double there, take money and start with NL100 and 20$ again"

and funny thing, i really made some profit playing like that ...obv i was lucky and started to take more and more often shots with 200$ on NL1000 6max tables ...always looked for a juicy 6max table with only 100bb stacks, so id be the only one with 20bbs

right now it isnt possible anymore ...i think the increased minstack to 40bb there, so its not that profitable anymore. But however, i obv lost my salary over and over again ...some day i bought some books, watched free coaching vids and gave a shot on MTTs in 2009... I liked the action there and the chance to hit a nice payout.. However, my "serious" poker game started 2013 with playing MTTs, after buying few months membership on TPE and studying MTT game.

I did kind of "okay", had a sick deeprun in the early $1 Million Turbo Take Down with 30k runners (its an only monthly tournament u could qualify to with FPPs worth 3k FPPs... old stars players gonna remember it) Had many 1k-3k cashes, but never got that one nice run in highrollers like sunday million, sunday 500 or 1k Super Tuesday (qualified for them pretty often).. After years and years just doing "okay" on MTTs i finally decided to try out "real CG" with real BRM etc.

Now I feel like a very solid profitable MTT player. I also coached a friend of mine in MTT game, who only played CG... He became a winning player in MTTs and shipped the thursday challenge on 888 for 7k and got 3rd in the 60k gtd 1$r 3x Turbo for 6.6k... what kinda confirmed to myself, that my game is very solid

I know, all "bad players" would say that, but i really had a long downswing with FailedEpic and last few months also with the anonstranger acc, which really pi**ed me off ...Beginning of this year i shipped a local live Tourney for €12k back2back... last year i played the same tourney and made deal 5way for €4.3k ...which made me even more mad, since i cant cash nice in online MTTs. I know especially in online MTTs variance is insanely huge, and it seems like i cant handle it so well. Thats why i decided to try out CG and only stick to my live tourneys and just a few soft online MTTs i gonna pick wisely.

Right now im up to $2.2k BR (but as ive told, i have €12k winnings from live tourney, if i should broke the $2.2k..) But I think on these soft tables 20BI should be enough to build up the roll from up here. But even if i hit some downswing, i just gonna deposit back again. I really dont wanna go down limits, since i really not used to CG. I still kind of think its boring and u never be able to bink a nice payout there. Smaller limit than NL100 would be too boring for me, and my game would probably gets too spewy, thats why i have a "virtual" 10k roll, but right now only 2.2k online on my poker acc.

Monthly Goals:

I gonna try to get platinum status, which is really helpful for the rakeback and a musthave. That means i have to play around 25-30k hands monthly. Since i have some freetime right now (just working parttime 20h/week), i gonna push it to 40k hands a month which is around 30h/week game. I dont have any experience in CG, so this gonna be my first month and if i wont reach this 40k, i probably lower it to 30k. We will see

Expectations from that blog:

I hope i can focus more on my game, if i share my game with u. And hopefully will get some nice conversations about hands i played unorthodox or just bad + I think if i can keep posting and updating my run, its gonna be interesting to see my growing on NL100.


I use HM2 and tournamentshark for MTTs, which i also gonna play sometimes. But not more than 3-4 tables. I have 2 monitors, so i gonna be playing 6 tables CG on one monitor, and 3-4 Tourneys on another one, when ill do my sessions. I will try to update this blog at least once a week. Otherwise ill gonna do quick posts after each session with a CashGraph and summary of keyhands.

I already started playing CG this year, thats how i ran so far. Only 3k hands, but i really ran well (51bb/100), without getting AA vs KK all the time or something.
Thats how i got up so far from 900$ to 2.2k BR.
I play a very aggressive style on these 10max tables, which most regs/players are not used to.
I try to abuse that, and so far it really worked out well
If ill be able to hold 10-15bb/100 longterm, id be very happy (which is really possible on these tables on 888...)

ty at first. Tonight played only MTTs, wasnt in the mood for CG.
Went deep in the 4$r 5k Gtd on 888, made it HU, but unluckily lost it
