Update number something: Day I don't know what day of 129

So, 10k hands at nl16

Looks fine... until you see the non showdown

And oh boy do I suck....

Yeah, played almost nothing these days. And while playing I was just clicking buttons and hopping for the best.

I'm not sure what I've been doing lately. Everyday feels the same. I wake up at like 12.30 or 1pm, walk around the house. Start a session, play for 15 minutes, finish the session. I don't feel like playing. I don't feel like doing anything. Start a session, play for 15 minutes, finish the session.

Like two days ago PokerStars announced the new Rewards system....

Yeah... GG rakeback.

GG Stars?

I'm thinking a lot about what I'm gonna do with my life. I don't want to quit poker. Playing poker is the only thing I've wanted to do since I was 18.

I mean, this is not necessary the end. I'm probably gonna be looking for another site to play, probably Party or some Ipoker skin. Maybe I could switch to MTTs or live poker.

I'm not sure if I even like live poker.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about the future. I don't want to go back to university. I don't want to have to get a job. I don't know.....

But also, I don't wanna be 40 and think that the only thing I did was playing poker in a casino.

I started with all of this because of the poker dream. You know... the dream that one day you'll be playing in the Bahamas with a million bucks in each pocket.

And everyday that dream seem more and more stupidly impossible.

Not sure what I'm gonna do, but I'll be back.

I'm gonna end this with a song.

Come gather 'round people wherever you roam
And admit that the waters around you have grown
And accept it that soon you'll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you is worth savin'
Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin
Take care.

Random Update: GG Zoom

Okey, so the goal was getting to NL100z. That's not gonna happen.

Beated nl16z tho

NL25z tilts me way too much for some reason.

So I've been playing regular tables, NL16 and NL25. Gonna try to get to 100nl there.

I'll post random updates from time to time

Take care, bye

Is poker your only income or have you found a job since the beginning of this challenge?

Quick question buddy, actually I have a few questions. I just started playing cash after grinding tournaments for the last 3 years which I made around 15k profit. So far I've played only 2NL cash which I have around 20bb/100 with 30k hands. I am going to move to 5NLz soon then eventually 10NL then 25NL.

Heres my questions.
1. How would you compare difficulty with 5nl, 10nl and 25nl, is there more bluffing needed? Does the redline mean a lot more at these limits?

2. is 10bb/100 achievable at 10nlz? The reason I ask this is because I can make $10 per hour or more grinding 10NLz which is good for me.

3. You seem like a really good player, why is it so hard for you to beat 25nlz? I see you destroying every other stake, whats the difference here?

Did you play less than 150k hands in a 5 month time span? That's not grinding mate.

I'll try to give you my best answers.

1. I played 5nl on fullring years ago, no idea about that. The biggest difference is beetween nl10 and nl25 IMO. You should definitely play nl16 before nl25. Bluffing and redline is very important IMO. Just try to not get wrecked.

2. I plan to grind 100k-150k hands at nl10z on party (already played 10k) and we will see. My guess is that 10bb/100 pre-rakeback is not possible unless you are really really good. Which you probably won't if you are just climing the stakes.

3. I'm not lol but I got a lot better last two months! nl25z is my kryptonite. Probably is a mix of not being good enough and mental game stuff.

Also, I only posted graphs from the days when I was updating the thread frequently and the big sample on nl16z . There was a lot of pain and suffering that I didn't post about.

I'll post a couple more graphs.

GL!

No, but a couple nights ago I had a dream when I had 300k and was about to play Poker After Dark against Negreanu, Hellmuth, Ike, Sauce, etc . And when they start dealing the cards, the game is PLO. I have no idea what to do with those nonsense 4-card hands and feel like ****. And they I woke up.

UPDATE: what I've been up to the past few months

Ok, so I'll post my graphs from the past two months to get kinda up to date. And after that I'll be trying to update the blog daily.

So here we go, last two months on stars:

NL16z, NL16, NL25, etc

NL25z:

NL50 shot lol:

I played more hands on Party and 888, but who cares.

Also busted like $200 or something like that playing *****ng MTTs

So that's basically it.

Gonna start a new challenge tho!

Inspired by Nick Howard, I'll move down stakes to grind 100k-150k of nl10z on party.

Seems like nonsense, I know.

I was never too much of a grinder. Never had consistency playing the same limit. That nl16z sample is over months and months of coming and going up and down stakes. I think playing the same stake everyday for a month or so will help my game a lot. And if I succeed hopefully I'll have more bankroll, better game, maturity and momentum to crush NL25z.

The plan is to 4-table zoom, play 5k hands every day, crush those mothe****ers, get some rakeback and improve.

I'm on day two btw.

2018 is gonna be my last shot at poker. I'm gonna make it, or I'll kill myself.

Maybe literally, but probably not. If I fail I'll probably get a sad job somewhere and focus on the random women grind. Maybe play some live poker.

I'll do my best to not fail.

I'm working on my game daily. And I can feel how I'm getting better everyday.

I'll play to win.

That's a sick winrate mate. I'm sure all you need to do at .25/.50 is put in more volume, that's just some rotten variance. I don't think there is a big diff between the stakes. I'm also doing the 100k hands this month. Got a thread here also. If you wanna stay in touch this month to encourage each other this month that would be cool--I'm also not the best at putting in big volume.

Would be cool to stay in touch. If you want to PM me your skype I'll send you a text, we can review hands and stuff.

Full disclaimer: my spoken english is not a ten. Probably something between a six and an eight, I feel like I might be kinda awkward because that. My drunk english is like 12 tho.
