So my name is Habibi I'm from the UK I'm 33 and been playing poker pretty much my whole life, well not exactly poker but playing cards having been a part of my life since I was 4 or something lol

The reason for my new thread is that I'm basically gona be doing another jungleman or ben86 in the sense that I'm going to be spending the next couple years of my life turning a $500-$1k deposit into around $2-3m ideally £1m.

I had some success playing underground cash games winning around £200k in about 3-4 years back in 2013-2016 playing £1/£2 holdem then done some stupid things with the money til I eventually lost it all ☹️ FML

Whilst I was grinding underground cash games I was working as a postman so I didn't really save any of it coz I knew I'd get paid from work if I went broke.

Well now I'm broke and lost my job at royal mail FML so I've decided to play online cash games full time.

I'll be putting updates on my progression in my thread so keep checking back on how I'm doing. Once I reach £1m I'll be retiring from poker for good and I look forward to the day I write that final post 😁

So my original thread was in the small stakes nl section but some hater decided to report my thread as a troll. I'm not a troll I've literally been updating everyone on my situation with my job etc and explained why I haven't started playing yet.

I am not gona let some haters stop me from inspiring people and stop me from posting my progress on my goal to reach £1m.

All the studying reminds me of when I was a teenager. I bought a big book on bodybuilding. I was going to get huge, that was the plan. But first some studying. I pored over the book for a couple of weeks studying Arnold's routines and diet, etc - but not really working out at all.
