-$350 today

Had a good chance of shipping the 40k turbo on vada today.

Picked up AK and GII against the ultra maniac at the table for the chiplead with 30 left, but he had the aces

Pretty much bricked everything else.. was just card dead/flop dead.

Profit down to $500 for the month. Going to need a strong 2nd half of the month!

Been a rough week.. -$50 today

Was top 18 in a 12.5k, got rivered QQ vs 99 for a top 5 stack... just can't get there late

I really have a problem with ending a session. I'm not tilted per se.. I just want to keep playing and not stop until I'm winning. It sucks going to bed on a losing day.

Why can't I just think of every poker hand as being part of a total process and not get caught up with winning/losing days?

Maybe it's something I have to work on.

you thinking like that will come in time. it is alot easier mentally and financially obv to have more "winning days" and a consistent hourly especially for some1 like yourself wanting to play full time long term for several reasons. i keep saying it, grind cash consistently with a few mtt's mixed in

or stop looking at results every day, a friend of mine was able to mod my bovada client so I can't see my balance and it's worked well for me.

I've tried the whole not looking at results thing and you can still always feel whether you're up or down for the day.. then it just leaves you wondering how much.

Finished +$400 today

Got 2nd in a 3k for $520, made about $250 playing cash, and had a mincash for 120 or so.

Nice little day to keep us afloat while we seek out the big bink!

Could the FT bubble king hold his throne once again!? (involuntarily)

Here we are at the final 2 tables in the $22 10k GTD

PHEW

Was walking away from computer and saw K out of the corner of my eye.. FINALLY!!

Managed to crawl back...

+$1,515 today

Also got 16th in the $55 rebuy 35k GTD.. Ran pretty bad with our AQ running into A4 and the board chopping it up.. then we had to shove soon after with QJs and were busted.

That FT took 2.5 hours plus on its own.. might need to sleep in a little later tomorrow.

Night!

-$485 today

The perfect complement to yesterday

Trying to recall what went wrong but I don't remember anything significant.. a few 2 outers to knock us out.. otherwise I think we just didn't get any good spots today.

Gonna study for a bit and head to bed.. PEACE

-$200, but won a $270 ticket to wpn 500k..

Made a final 18 but lost a flip to the biggest whale ever shoving 30bbs from the sb over my UTG open w/ KJo vs my AQ.

Nothing very interesting to say...

Gonna study for a bit tonight and a lot of tomorrow as well. Probably won't play tomorrow. Ready for a good Sunday

+$40 today

Went pretty deep in the 500k on WPN.. was sitting with a top 15 stack for an hour or so while ITM. Ended up busting like 145th for $550.

Had a pretty brutal hand with QQ against a whale where I 3bet him and an A flopped. I was OOP so just decided to cbet it and turn my hand into a bluff. Whale called and I had to c/f to his shove. Lost half my stack there.

Then I got moved to a table of unknowns and the CO opened, I flatted in bb w/ QdJc, I had 11bbs.

Flop QT7ssc, he cbets and I call. Turn 6c and he puts me all in. I tank called reasoning he has a lot of draws in his range, but I think I overestimate the frequency in which they will play this way with a draw. He had KK.

I should have folded and tried to make a run with my 9 remaining bb's.

Live and learn

If I include all of his value combos and 1/2 of his draw combos, I get 33% exactly, which is exactly what we need.

The tipping point comes down to how he plays his draws.. how often does he take a free river? How often is he actually shoving a naked OESD?

Ofc against an unknown I have no clue.

Nvm.. I forgot to consider one key point..

I would have shoved AQ/KQ and any PP preflop, so my range for c/c'ing the flop is way weaker than I even thought.

If he realizes this, he should be 100% shoving any draw on the turn because my turn calling range is pretty much limited to ONLY QJ/QT

So yeah.. I think it's a call.

Was railing your run in the 500k. I busted 100ish away from itm when AA < QTo left me crippled. Was that hand w/QQ against that dude Bartelo? And I think the QJ is a call, but I would be ck jamming flop.

on that board considering how I'd play other parts of my range, I check jam/check raise to GII turn (dependent on stack sizes) on flop

(if you know he has KK fold pre though)

Damn that sucks! I was watching your chip count from time to time :P

Yeah it was against bartelo.. dude was a whale so I was considering a hero call on the turn.

I probably should have just chk/jammed flop w/ QJ. I was thinking that I wanted to rep 2nd pair and maybe induce some light shoves/bets on the turn, but I don't really think I'm inducing much looking back at it.

Cut it out completely..

I always go through a cycle where I start off drinking caffeine for the little high it gives me.

Eventually, usually about a month or 2, the high is barely anything, and then I start getting depressed thoughts in the evening once the caffeine has worn off.

Then I stop for a while and think, "man, itd be nice to feel that little high again," and then I start back up again.

I really need to just stay away from it forever and keep a stable energy level and mood.

Today is my 3rd day without it and I'm starting to feel a bit better already. The last couple were a bit of a pain with headaches and fatigue.

Feeling a bit down after today.. it's crazy how this game can make you feel like you'll never win again after just a week of running bad.

Not giving up though.

Saw a cool little pic that lifted me up a bit
