+250 today along with a $44 ticket..

Got 18th in the WPN 109 30k and 11th in WPN $33 5k, $277 and $99 respectively.

Made a few other $50-$100 cashes as well.

I'm getting very deep almost every night, but I seem to blind down and wither away as the final table/final 18 get closer.

Going to reflect on this and see what kinds of adjustments I can make

Night!

Edit: My total profit for the month is 2k so far... Knew I was gonna need to ship something pretty good to meet my goal, so I've got 3 weeks to make it happen. We're just off pace otherwise.

-$380 today

Bubbled two FT's and didn't cash in anything else.. oh well. Ran a bit bad today.

Listened to some Mental Game of Poker podcasts while grinding today, which was pretty motivational. Took down a few notes.

I need to hit the gym tonight, and then tomorrow I've gotta clean my place spotless. Not having my place clean definitely creates a bit of clutter in my mind.

^^ Welcome

-$130 today.. few more deep runs.. had a 5th place FT table finish for $200 in something small.

It's crazy how much of a difference a good night of sleep makes. Got 8 hours last night and felt great today. Really need to continue going to bed at a reasonable time so I can get enough sleep.

Not sure if I'm gonna play tomorrow or not. Hanging out with my dad for a bit at some point.. might just rest up for Sunday.

Gonna run ICMIZER on some hands I wrote down today and go to bed.

Night!

-$550

Got murdered. No way else to put it.

These are the kinds of days that make me reevaluate what it takes to be the best. I legitimately want to be the best in the world, and that requires making my life solely about poker.

Did the prime Tiger Woods care about anything other than golf? Does LeBron care about anything other than basketball? Nope.

My gym membership is already cancelled. I put up a doorway pull up bar and now I'm working out at home while I study poker.

I see a few of the same names at the top of the some of the biggest MTT's.. why not me? Because I'm not giving it everything.

The girl I'm banging? I'm taping nash charts to her chest.

The beer I'm drinking? Straight to the dumpster.

The food I'm eating? Only the best.

There's no reason to care about anything other than poker in this point in my life. I love this game, and I want to be the best at it. That comes with a price.

It's time to pay it,

^^ Thanks man

-$250ish today not sure exactly, vada won't let me login..

Had 2 sick FT bubbles, one where I was chiplead with 10 to go. Just sick setups in both. Trips vs better trips and then rivered two pair into rivered straight.

Got 7th in a small one for $125ish? Another final 18 finish in there somewhere.

Happy with how I played because I slept awful last night so it was a grind today.

Played for 14 hours straight.. bout to go to bed and then in the morning gonna workout before I study for a couple hours and fire them up again.

Gonna dream of some late-stage rungood.. if I can't have it in real life, I'll have it in my dreams

Another very brutal day.. back to back

Got 10th, 11th, and 12th.. wont even get into specifics, but they were all gross

I managed to break even money wise, but what could have been...

The good news is that I'm getting very deep constantly, and my confidence has never been higher. Unfortunately confidence isn't going to pay my bills so I'll be praying to the poker gods tonight

Gonna run some ICMIZER spots from today and call it a night. I'll be up early for more punishment

+$270 on the day

Broke the FT bubble curse, but could only manage a 4th and a 6th in two 3k GTD's.

Gonna watch some Narcos and head to bed

you mixing in any cash at all or is it just straight mtt's lately? have watched the first 4 episodes of narcos baked out of my skull which enhances it and have to say its good but not great. only other nextflix original series ive tried is lillyhammer and i only watched that cuz of silvio, some funny parts but subpar overall and would be brutal without silvio. since this is a poker forum this is appropiate and hilarious, 1 of my fav scenes from the series

Haha pretty funny..

I think Narcos is an amazing show just because of how violent it is.. super entertaining.

Anyway, at the start of my sessions I mix in some cash tables because otherwise I only have 2-4 mtts going until primetime starts, but I usually end up closing all of them out after a couple of hours.. unless they are especially good games.

Today the 1/2 full ring games were really juicy in the middle of the day for some reason, so I played that and made a couple buyins before most of the big mtt's started.

Made about $350 in cash games and broke even in MTT's today.

i know cash doesnt provide the rush or a chance ata quick huge score like mtt's do but do you think if you grinded cash throughout your sessions while still playing some mtt's(obv less than before) youd reach your goal faster than at the rate youre currently going?

That's actually a good question that I hadn't really considered.

I could cut out some of the smaller buyin mtt's and replace them with cash, which I'm sure would give me a higher hourly.

Thanks I'll have to see what I can do.

-$660 today :O.. won a $270 ticket tho

Nothing went right today unfortunately.. cash games went awful.. had to make a ton of ridiculous folds on awful runouts, and I didn't cash a single tournament today aside from the satellite. Our overpairs were no good on this fine Friday.

Tomorrow is my dad's bday so I'll have the day off.. excited for sunday.. got some big ones to play.

So I'm up $870 on the month total right now.. But also have $485 in MTT tickets for Sunday

10k challenge not looking good atm, but we all know MTT earnings are about as linear as the line I walk in when I'm drunk..

So what we're saying is... there's a chance.

thats why i asked/suggested you grind cash regularly and just mix in a few mtt's everyday(unless if its sunday or theres a series goin on like the 1 comin up), youll make money alot more consistently and dont worry your binkage will still come in the donkaments. enjoy spending your dads b day with him(nothing more important than family), and gl on sunday!
