NEW 50K PLO CHALLENGE !

I try to keep it short.

After three months playing more as a recreational mtt player, i decided that it's time to hop on the plo zoom train again. I didn't played much by myself, but i studied a lot and i feel fresh and in a good shape to reach higher limits in poker, and life in general. The challenge, as simple as it sounds, is to make fifthy thousand dollars exclusevly from pot limit omaha on pokerstars and the new stars rakeback system.




This time i will set myself strict guidelines wich should help me to keep this blog alive as long as possible. I post a graph after every set ( i will explain in the bankroll-management part what that means) i played. I post an overall graph every friday and an overall graph once at the last day of the month.




The stakes i play are mostly 50/100/200, and in later stages i might be able to mix in some 500 too.




I also created a new bankroll-management. I have never seen somebody useing this before and i really wanna give it a try now. So first of all...




-What is a set?

A set are 7 stacks. Whenever i say set, i dont mean trips, i mean 7 stacks.




-Why 7?

I start of a session playing 50plo without the use of auto rebuy. That means i let my stack shrink to zero before i reload. Cause in plo you can play a nice short stack strategy as well. But if i double up to 100, i leave, and join a 100plo zoom table. Same here up to 200 and once i reach 400 stack i leave and start at 50 again. So this way, every stack is a bullet. If i suceed 1 bullet out of 7, i breakeven, and take home the rakeback. That's why one set is 7 stacks or 7 bullets. And i post a graph after every set i played.




-When do you move to 500plo?

Once i have reached 5k in profit i'm gonna start the bullets from 100, and do the same up to 1k, playing 100/200/500. From 25k on i will take direct shots at 500 for sure.




-When do you post stuff for the small bunch of people who really read this blog?

Graphs after every set, and every friday a weekly overall, and on the last of the month a monthly overall. I also post one picture from something in my real life once on every weekday. Just to remember myself and everybody how important it is for my game to stay healthy and balanced in life.




-When do you gonna start?

Heey everybody. Have played like 7k hands on zoom 100plo now. I'm gonna start mixing in some nl too to lower the variance a little bit. As you can see in the following graph, i had a good run with a big 3 way all in at the end.



I try to keep the volume up.
For those who doesn't know, i grinded my way from 5plo to here. So feel free to ask for further informations to that project. But for now i would say let's focus on a new year, a new challenge and keep on grinding.

I'm sorry guys. Me and my girlfriend had a timeout, followed by a breaking up. So i wasn't in the right mood to fully focus on PLO. Now, i feel a little better and i give a little session at PLO100 to come back in the PLO-MODE. I might 1 or 2 table zoom, so the volume will be really less then i'm used to, but i'l post giraffe and stuff afterwards. See you later and GL!

I decided that for me i it's the best to post a pic of every session after 250 hands played. That way i stay focused on this thread and i stay more focused at the tables than playing long 2-3k hands sessions. I'm currently at 130 or so and only like 20 min in. Will post my first giraffe after 250 hands played. see you later.

I had like 1 Pot where i had to fold the river deep stacked...-ev juhe. I should have played more agressive, cause it would be +ev to bring it in on the flop. But at this point i slowplayed and had to fold to a nasty river. I lost like 80.- in this hand... very bad played by me i guess, cause i could even call the 100.- river bet as i figured out in my review right now.

Gonna go ahead for another 250 hand session.

I had to make 2 biiiiig laydowns, worth 200.- in ev....;( i might be a little too nitty when deep stacked...

Gonna eat something, and then play another 250 hands.

Btw, it counts my time for breaks too in the holdem manager when it's only a short break.
