Hi,

So, ... I have been a poker hobbyist since the poker boom. I play for fun, mostly live at my local poker club at the pub. Also played online. Any amount I am up on stars for MTTs and SNGs has surely been lost on the PLO cash tables late night.

Recently though, I have enjoyed casually learning about poker theory/GTO related stuff, and pondering how one would go about coming up with the perfect strat.

My goal is to come up with minimally exploitative NHL strategy against the population of micro MTTers. The goal might change if by learning something new in process, but for now, this is the goal. I have a long way to go since I have never even used poker tracking software, but hey, gotta start somewhere.

I will be using this thread to document my progress here, and would love for you to comment on my ideas. I expect that I will have heaps of questions which I'll post likely to either here, or Game Theory and Small Stakes MTT. It would be great if all the everyone could post their thoughts in response.


Quetion: Which GTO solver software do you recommend? Why? I have come across PIOSolver and Simple Post Flop and GTO Range Builder, but don't have know what the full range of options are or which option/s are the best investment for me. Thoughts?

Just signed up for UpSwingPokers' Post Flop Engine. Gotta get the basics right.

From initial inspection, the PFE looks super systematic in explaining how to play. Super simple to understand. Will give a proper review of my experience later.
